i have an idea for a game, but i dont know how to send it to Bungie
Does anyone know where i can send my game idea so that i could possibly get it developed if its a good idea?
i have some of it drawn up, the main events in the game written up. characters and personalities, weapons (and how they work) im still writing and sketching daily but i dont want to be wasting my time perfecting every detail if im definitely going to be told its a poor idea. would be cool to know if they are interested or even if it will give them some ideas.
thanks anyone who wants to listen or help, its muchly appreciated.

Bungie typically does not take any outside ideas for games and the like. From what I understand, they don't want outside game ideas, and legally can't accept outside game ideas either. I'd suggest you make this yourself, or shop around for another dev.

Your best bet, if you really want to see it made, is to do it yourself. No big company will entertain idea's from people on the outside, because lets be honest, if they took one persons idea they'd be flooded with millions of others and regret it. Plus they pay people good money to be idea people, if it's a good idea, something simular has already been thought of. I'm not trying to sound like a buzz kill, but in reality thats just how it works. But I mean look at Bungie, they started with 2 guys in an apartment and they've become on of the coolest companies in the world. Just because an idea is lost doesn't mean you can't start with a few friends!

[/quote] I think you should take all the time you need on this game, write it, draw it up, and program it. This way you can release it yourself as an Indie game. They're becoming very popular because everyone can do it. Who cares if other people think your game is a bad idea, the important thing to remember is that YOU think it's a good idea and therefore I think you should make it. Screw what people think.

I'm afraid they won't be making this game for you for a few reasons, primarily because I don't believe they will want to risk falling short on there end of the Activion contract by wasting time on another project. But there are other reasons they won't make this game for you spanning from the profitability that your game design document is written "incorrectly" all the way to the fact you are not a Bungie employee. Don't lose hope though, follow your dream! Learn C++ and get some modelling experiences, then you can work on the game in your free time. It would be a good learning experience.

Work for them. It's probably just another CoD and Halo mix together anyways.
