What games do you guys usually play?

I see my previous thread was rather successful, so I'm willing to try my hand at it again. Title says it all. Now, I used to do a whole lot more of Halo PC back in the olden day, but I've taken a 3 or so year hiatus now and I can't say I see myself going back anytime soon without anyone else willing to join up or even help host some sort of humpday event, in the traditional way like Igg used to do them that is. I've been really hitting the slots and blackjack tables on New Vegas lately and I go on and off Quake and TF2. That's my 10 cents, anyways. Any of you guys have Steam or play games elsewhere? I have a 360 and a PS3 as well.

 •
Posted by: i Conker You know, to be honest, I sorta stopped giving too much of a -blam!- about gaming, (hence one reason why I stopped coming to this forum (and website) in the first place.) But every now and then I would play a few Gamecube games via emulator, and maybe something on my steam games list. But other than that, I haven't really been gaming much.
Posted by: Ben2974 I thought to myself thinking whether or not I should rewatch the DragonBall series. Then I remembered of another anime that had caught my attention for a brief moment over a half dozen years ago. I thought about it and said, "let's do it." I'm currently over 400 episodes into watching One Piece. It's -blam!- amazing. Note: I'm not generally an anime-fan. Dragonball series and Rurouni Kenshin are all that i've ever watched so far.
In that case, I recommend you watch Trigun. I can't really push myself to watch 550+ episodes of One Piece
I'm with you there 100%. The worst part of watching that many episodes of One Piece is that when you've watched all currently released episodes (561), you know you've only gone half-way through the series. And now it's about an episode a week with Toei. College has started and i'm losing my connection with One Piece simply because I can't watch the show regularly. :[ Thanks for the recommendation, btw!

 • I played a little Halo Custom Edition inspired by Sean Aero opening up the beta form of HaloRank and I saw something that made me facedesk. So there I was playing some CTF on Derelict and I see someone trying to flag juggle. Yes... I saw someone attempting to flag juggle on Halo: Combat Evolved. Even after I pointed out that he was doing nothing but make himself look like an ass, he kept going. Gave me a good laugh. I was having loads of fun while playing, though. A nice long break might have been what I really needed. :P

 •
Posted by: DusK How many DBZ characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? One, but it takes three episodes.
A very, very powerful lightbulb! [Edited on 08.20.2012 9:41 PM PDT]

We're moving off topic a bit now.. xD

You have no idea.
As long as I am pleasantly entertained, i'm fine. I'm sure there are a variety of anime that center around fighting (like Kenshin, DBZ, and OP), so when i'm done with OP I might search for more. But anyway, I'm really centered around anime that have constant, intense fighting. If you have any recommendations that suit my specifications, feel free to let me know :p
DBZ is the only anime i have ever watched (grew up with it and the Manga) and my only problem with it is the filler and slight line changes which contradict the Manga at times. Otherwise, DBZ was amazing.
Good thing I don't read manga (although now I might consider). Dragonball(Z) was my childhood superhero action show and it pretty much influenced my life on several levels. I'd still watch it with envy today.

 • You have to watch Cowboy Bebop. I know it's considered the "least anime anime" but I can't help my love for it. Best ending to any story ever. On a more on-topic subject, I feel like playing Halo PC right now! I wonder how long it'll take for me to get bored of it.

 • I play . . . haha well I haven't played anything in the past month and half I believe. Diablo 3 stinks, Tribes got boring quickly, LoL is an addictive virus that I was able to shake off sometime last March, CSS is repetitive, TF2 is bland, Rose Online is pointless and full of people my language doesn't communicate with, Vindictus is repetitive, and Battlefield 2 lost my interest with time. Currently not playing any Halo, either. I thought to myself thinking whether or not I should rewatch the DragonBall series. Then I remembered of another anime that had caught my attention for a brief moment over a half dozen years ago. I thought about it and said, "let's do it." • I often play Halo 1, Ghost Recon 1 (and expansions), Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1/2, SW Jedi Outcast, SW Jedi Academy, SW Battlefront 2, SW Republic Commando, SW KOTOR 1/2, SW The Old Republic, Splinter Cell 1-5, Rainbow Six (several of them), Minecraft, Blacklight Retribution, TC's End War, and SW Empire at War/Forces of Corruption As I manage to play at least half of these to some extent each day (about 5-6 hours of total play time) I think I may have some form of ADHD lol

 •
Posted by: DusK Hey, neither can I. But thankfully, my pre-purchase for Guild Wars 2 was placed months ago. I don't think I'll be needing anything else for a long, long time.
I feel your pain man along with my pain. I might become numb with this accumulation of pain so I might have to listen to angry metal in order to be at one with my pain and reduce the numbness. Maybe Lamb of God will do for now. But who knows how deep I'll get.

 • Halo PC and Halo 2 Vista. Halo PC is a better version of CE. H2 Vista is pure crap. I only touch it because it's more accessible (backing up game saves, collecting skulls, augmenting game saves with modding).

 •
Posted by: InvasionImminent Thank you Syx for being understanding, but I don't know how its my fault.
Because you obviously didn't look hard enough. There are plenty of servers out there that aren't filled with that sort of thing. My recommendation is spending some time fishing for good servers then favoriting them. I have about 6 servers I have on my favorites list that are always occupied and have communities that do actually care about the game instead of simply trading. There are plenty of other good servers out there it's just that those few are all I really need. [Edited on 08.16.2012 5:16 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: Beowul7
Posted by: InvasionImminent Rofl, if anyone is incompetent, it's you. I made an exaggerated statement. I don't see why you cannot understand this. It's like saying everyone who eats at Mcdonalds is obese. A large portion is, yes, but the statement was exaggerated. Not everyone who eats there is overweight. It was an exaggerated statement, yet you would probably take it literally because you eat at Mcdonalds an feel offended. Obviously I find regular servers, but I also find a lot of trading servers. If you want to flame me because of the servers I find and my experiences, go ahead. But it just goes to show how much you know.
So I'm incompetent for bringing up the fact you made a retarded generalization? And you're acknowledging this. And I'm taking offense on this why? I'm calling you out for what you are and I'm having oh so much fun doing so.
*Sigh* I made an exaggeration, okay? Obviously not all TF2 is trading servers, but you took my post literally and "called me out" on it. The reason I believe you're the incompetent one is because you didn't understand this, and you still don't. I'm on the verge of believing you're a troll, as you are obviously dragging this out to see me upset, because you actually admitted it on the last sentence.
