Crimson in the future...

What do you think Crimson will look like in the future (Literally and if the characters in criimson moved forward in time)? I think it would be cool if it turned out to be Crimson Nuclear Pirates, Just thinking.

 •
Posted by: path1k
Posted by: Phoenix2640 Crimson Astronauts would be a nice theme (Crimson in Space).
that would be nice, preferably a green suit with an orange visor
If it is a bungie game it wont move from that old formula too much ... not a lot of imagination oing on in there. Are bungie still "going dark"? (wonder if they know thats a clubing term based around gender preference confusion?)

 •
Posted by: path1k i assumed their plan was having the BUNGiE Aerospace logo on the game was to get more attention from customers, you know because people might think of Halo once they see it. didn't go well huh?
Someone game bungie some bad advice in that case. Picture the gap between PS3/xbox/PC believers. Multiply that by 20 when you try to push into the mobile game market ... they are seen as an outsider at best ... bloatware, greedy, arrogant in general. Any of it true? - doesnt matter. Guessing bungie expected some of this, and hence the new aerospace name. also guessing they underestimated the market just a little - lol.

 •
Posted by: path1k they haven't given up, could have sworn a video was up relating to BUNGiE, Harebrained Schemes and Crimson Steam Pirates within this month. Harebrained Schemes also seem to be working on another title Shadowrun, wonder if BUNGiE Aerospace has anything to do with that
Guessing Harebrained Schemes would be wanting to go it direct this time ... not like have aerospace helped. The owner has got close ties with bungie, it may be time for aerospace to test how strong those ties are. Plus will need a title name change. Bungie forces dev studios to use the "Crimson" branding.

 •
Posted by: path1k apart from this nearly extinct forum, i don't see any further progression (any further progression BUNGiE can make a profit of at least, even if it's only somewhat)
Agree 100%. It looks like bungie lost interest in aerospace after the first [and only] title. Why did they give up so quickly? And how can 343 beat bungie to the puch with Halo 4? Didnt bungie start on their new title back in 2007 :(

 •
Posted by: Guywiired I use the date given by those providing the service of course! In this case Bungie is the service provider.
At last ... and Bungie registered that service when?
Posted by: Guywiired On any platform, release rates are meaningless to the quality of the publisher. Contrary to your belief, there is no actual correlation.
Ok, rather that argue the point - how do you define a successful publisher? Is it; - Getting the titles name in the public domain through use of the common press? - Binding the title with a pool of similar interest groups, co-selling? (from MPOV a publisher, be it a book or game publisher, with only a single title does not equate to sucess) And while you are providing us access to your experienced views, how about one or two mobile app publishers who you would rate as 'successful', and how their positioning correlates to Bungies application of those same successful principles. Floors all yours.
Lets put it another way ... if someone asks you 'How old are you?' - how do you answer? Do you use; - your registered birth date, or - the date of your announcement (Christening, Namkaran, Brit Milah or whatever)
I use the date given by those providing the service of course! In this case Bungie is the service provider. It's a pretty weak analogy though.
Plus in the context of your original incorrect post it hardly matters. 1 title in 9 months as a publisher is still not a great record ... especially within the mobile app space. Or do you dispute that as well?!?
AHAHHAHAHAHA Really? •
Posted by: Guywiired There's a file date, and then there's an actual launch date, don't get the two confused.
Was more you calling someone out for being liar and troll ... when in fact they are correct. Not confused. Im sure if you tried to use the aerospace name in any way bungie would be the first to state the 2 year old date. And 'launch' ... which one? Plus the planning and development would have been going on even before the filing date ... no one wakes up one morning and wanders down to the trademark office based on a wild dream.

Real question is can bungie talk another developer into making a title for aerospace ... honestly, one title in two years (and even that 1 title only took 12 weeks to develop). Must be pulling in one hell of a publishers license fee - lol.
2 years? Aerospace isn't even a year old at this point. Halo "prequel"? In the LOOSEST sense of the word. But by then, it might be just time for a new universe anyway.
