But '[i]Home of the Locked Thread[/i]' does provid a better definition that '[i]Bungie have gone dark[/i]'. Like WTF does that even mean?!? (perhaps they have clued onto my new trend in forum tag - added the extra 'L', for luck)

Perhaps he is talking about the non-stop chatter the bungie generates. You know, how they keep in contact with the fans. Let them know all about the next title and new ventures. And all to show appreciation to the gamers who made them. Its like the current "[i]We are dark[/i]" promotion ... says so much. Its way more than a hint.
