i've heard that plasma grenades will have a self detonation!
when u throw a plasma grenade in halo 2, just keep holding down on the L button and the grenade just keeps burning until u let go, great for sticking someone in the back, wait till they get in the base and relese, u can hurt quite a few people with that.

LMAO!!!!!ROFL!!! I can see that now in RvB: Halo 2. Of cours Donut gets another plasma 'nade stuck to his head. He's like "O -blam!-!" runs after Tex yet again. For like a minute Donut is chasing Tex with a 'nade stuck on his head

That could be quite funny: immagine you stick one to a nearby enemy in multi, holding it down in the hope that he moves away giving you the chance to blow him and leave you unscathed. Instead he takes it to you and you end up running for your life being chased by someone with a grenade stuck to them and only you can decide when it blows.

cause plasma grenades stick to the person, you could be waiting in a base (eg bloodgulch) for some one to walk in. They'll see you with the grenade in your hand, you throwing the grenade, you running from the explosion, them dieing from the explosion. I luv not making any sence.

I forget who said it, but it was from the EGM article, and what it said was that they were trying out new types of grenades and one of them was an upgraded plasma nade. Basically it's the same, but you hold down the trigger until you want to detonate it.....and when you release, bye bye valgina. Probably got scrapped.

By the way, why would only plasma grenades get this option. It seems more logical for frag grenades.

I'm pretty sure he means controlling the time it takes for a plasma grenade to explode so you could wait until he jumped in a warthog with two of his buddies before letting it go off.

You mean like the same effect as in RtCW (Tides of War, Xbox version) where you could 'cook' the weapons. That was a great option, that way people had like one second to get away.

i agree, i did not hear it from a friend ive reading a few things here and there on the internet, and they give a few clues on it when they mention new grenades, and new features for grenades, i wouldnt mind a needler grenade, throw it into the enemy base and blam 5 people dead!

i would change the game up a bit wouldnt it! if i had one stuck 2 me i dont know weather id wanna be blown up by it or just kill myself and save the humility!
