Destiny 1 has MANY PvP maps that never made it to d2, making d1 crucible a better experience currently. Why not rip the files from d1 and recreate the maps in d2? It would satisfy long-time players and new players alike. I don’t see any other way to make the required number of maps to make this game fun again in PvP. We have not gotten a new map since LIGHTFALL. How else do you plan to make up for the years of not releasing a single crucible map, and what better time than now? Or rather, it’s kinda now or never. D2 is dying, and it needs drastic measures. Just add all the D1 Crucible maps. Shadow and order could be Destiny’s major comeback with enough content, easily.

1 ReplyThe maps from D1 cannot be transferred. Bungie explained a few years ago that Rusted Lands had to be completely rebuilt. It took 3 months and consumed a lot of resources. They stopped creating new maps after that one because it required so much effort.
