Please try restarting your device and clearing the cache after deleting the companion app. On iOS the cache can be cleared by restarting the device. On other systems the option to clear the cache can usually be found in the Settings menu.

Please try connecting from a different network, such as switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Also, ensure that no VPN is active and if you're on iOS, iCloud's Private Relay is turned off.
