Then instead of putting in resources, they catered to the casual PVP player (the guy who logs into PvP, plays three games, and leaves for the week). I’m sure you’ve heard this story before. PVP in this game had a lot of potential.

That's life and life often applies to games even if you're playing games to escape life. There are plenty of us non pvp'ers that don't mind the ocassional forced pvp. It's because of streamers. Streamers like the stream VP they like to stream harder content why do you think bungie made the game 50% harder after lightfall!
