Invasion mode is not fun when its a 1v1
If I wanted to do a 1v1, I'd be queuing in the crucible playlists. I thought the whole point of the invasion was how it was advertised, invading an active fireteam while they are in the middle of a mission. Getting put into a 1v1 arena where my opponent is spawn camping in a walker is complete trash and actively makes me never want to bother another invasion.what makes it worse Is locking a saber color as an rng drop behind this. I find it hard to believe there's not enough active teams running missions that I can't invade them, yet I've only gotten to experience that once or twice, every other time is this 1v1 dome combat.

I literally just deathbringer spam any invader that joins my session gotta be honest I feel bad sometimes but then again I'm trying to get stuff done and there in the way of that idk why Bungie decided this would be popular at all maybe as a crusbile or new gambit mode but why the regular pve content

AND requiring it to progress quests?! AND I can't play the basic modes for this -blam!- without invasions active?!?! I should have an OPT IN option. No, I shouldn't have to sacrifice reward tier for it. That's literally -blam!-. Fix the horseshit.

Edited by xbroggiex: 12/5/2025 7:39:09 PMI had a good laugh yesterday when I read one of the title triumphs was "get rapid kills on guardians" and sure you only need 8/10 of the triumphs for the title but how are you supposed to get rapid kills on ONE GUY lol. I think in the invasions I did I got one match with 3 players while the rest were double crosses or single guy in lawless frontier.

While I way playing couple times someone invaded and killed me. I think you are confused because the person was alone doesn’t mean he was playing solo. We run around and sometimes players are alone away from team.

What I find strange is when I invade it’s usually one person basically waiting for me all by themselves with no enemies around. When I get invaded I’m usually in the middle of fighting off a horde of enemies and the invader at the same time.

1 ReplyInvading 3 people is cool because you will get deleted and it’s fair for the most part. The 1v1 can get annoying really fast. Especially when they spawn with super and I don’t.

Unfortunately this is the destiny community, so by default you already know if it's ever a 1v1 setting people are gonna play like rats. Gotta beat them at their own game, the new hand cannon is completely broken

Just did a 1v1 and was one shot by a chaos reach warlock as soon as I spawned in and each respawn they did it again 🤣 Atleast invading a whole fireteam made more sense to get nuked trying to get 3 seperate targets

Invasion is the worth thing in this game most matches are unfair I already hate it. I got the sword I guess the fun is over.

5 RepliesWait till you go into one and you're thrown into thunderdome with another player who is automatically in one of the atat Star wars themed Briggs quite literally sniping you from across the map. I thought I was playing destiny 2, nah it quite literally teleported me to Titanfall 2 Star wars edition..

As long as I’m not paired vs pc I like this mode. It feels like they’re cheating. Vs ps n Xbox players it’s been fun. But the damn pc players it feels like they’re using hacks every time even in the 3v1 n it’s like I should just leave n not waste my time.

I really love the 3v1 invasion. But 1v1 is only super spamming. Titan (thundercrash) are problematic in this mode. When I face anything else than a titan I feel I have at least a chance. When I invade I'm expecting to be actually invade. Not be placed in a lame crucible map.

I'll try my best to finish the campaign of renegades, but I have serious doubts I'll be able to with all the crap that's being going wrong from the get go. BungLe sadly isn't what it used to be... Not even a shell of their former self but far FAR worst!!!
