Please stop making cutting edge a requirement for anything. We want to use the stuff we want to use, not what you want us to. Not a fan

Honestly if it was a side option it be fine, but it also the fault of the people who spam 1 unbalanced loadout of old gear constantly. I like my old guns as much as the next person, but it's sometimes refreshing to not have to use old gear to beat old gear. And I already know "skill issue" comments coming my response same as always "skill issues also apply to the one who can't adapt to new gear"

1 ReplyI disagree. You crybabies made them cave. That Cutting Edge: Zone control is ruined. It was so refreshing not having to deal with certain weapons. Bungie isn’t the only thing that craps this game up. When you see the numbers drop even more, don’t question why.

1 ReplyThey didn’t even bother to pair exotics that go together for Avant-Garde activities. I’m not sure who’s in charge but they’ve clearly shown they’re not suited to work for the gaming industry at any capacity.

The number of things that Bungie has had to unwind in EoF is so absurd that it is comical. I cannot fathom how all of the EoF changes got green lit.

I have a friend that calls Cutting Edge "sunsetting". That's actually a good comparison, not gonna lie. I think everyone dislikes Cutting Edge for the same reason they dislike sunsetting. There isn't enough going on with the game to even come close to making it reasonable.

Why wouldnt you want the players to have the option of performing at their best? I was doing so bad with the crap weapons I had at my disposal - and otherwise never use. It's not like I dont know they exist, I tried them, came to the conclusion that they sucked and put them in the vault. I don't need an event to give them another shot.

Right. You're reward for having fun in having less and less of it the more you level up. Bungies entire micromanagement and exploitation "house of cards" is falling before our eyes. It alwyas was unsustainable and THIS was inevitable. After Renegades, it's just over. I don't see a scenario that brings us back from this, not from this crew that is only "Bungie" by name ONLY.

I'm pretty sure it's just a forced focus test for the new gear... balance testing and bug fix perk testing ECT... after All without a QA team we become the beta testers... Same with the new system to scrub out old things that were on the old system that would be difficult to balance with the new one.... because spaghetti coding and without the original coders It becomes increasingly difficult to rewrite and patch increasing the likelihood of bugs...
