Being kind.
It’s so easy to be mean. It’s MUCH harder to be kind. In a world so full of hatred, vitriol and anger, it’s easy to be nasty to the people that treat you poorly. It may even feel good. But ultimately it doesn’t do anything good for you. It just slowly turns you bitter and just at hateful.
So be kind. If someone is attacking you personally, stand up for yourself, but be kind.
If someone disagrees with you on a serious issue, stand for what you believe in, but be kind.
Love always conquers, and kindness always prevails.
Be kind.
Love your neighbor, even if you don’t agree with each other.
I have turned to insults and and hate in the past, but I’m done with that.
Stand by your beliefs. Stand up for what’s right. Protect your self. But ALWAYS be kind.
Love can warm the coldest of hearts, and change the world.

It's not hard to be kind. What really hard, is to do what you have to do. Because it's means facing any consequences of your actions. Many modern people try to avoid any consequences at all. That's why there is little of true man and true women (even addition "true" appeared because of it).

There’s a correlation between kindness and intelligence, as the inverse also proves true.

1 ReplyThe opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. It's also the easiest and least taxing of the three. Having said that, I don't care either way about any of what OP said.

Feels like there’s a lot of hate going round and people with an attitude of “you’re either with us, or against us”. I find it so tiresome. I find myself becoming more and more neutral on so many things, or just less forceful with my own opinion. I don’t want to align with groups that only care about winning. I don’t know how much it changes the world, but it definitely changes my world - it feels better. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it, if only for your own mental state. Yep, it’s a good reminder. Be kind. Easy to forget. -
