1 ReplyThe universe can't be made more real for me so it has to be good enough. I have free will as far as I can know, so I will assume I do, as the alternative would quite literally be out of my control anyway. This also reminds me of a very wholesome webcomic about a guy who finds a computer disc with a simulator that perfectly portrays a reality, and he falls in love with a character in the simulation. They both explore the implications of their relationship and reality. It's called Miracle Simulator for those interested.

Zhuangzi dreamed he was a butterfly, and while he dreamed, he was a butterfly; who's to say the dream of being a butterfly is more or less real than the butterflies themselves? I say wonder about it, but don't worry about it. Maybe we're in the Matrix, maybe we're in the mind of Brahma, maybe this is all there is - but it's sure nice that there's something rather than nothing. Something-ness is real, the details are just trivia.
