Cheaters on console
I know it's not as bad as PC but it's pretty bad. Tons of players with new accounts and crazy stats. Connections are bad or people are throttling them. Then you have this easy to use meta with pulses and fusions and hunters hiding invis behind the corner. Or titans punching you twice after you hit them first. It's pretty bad rn but the population is better than last season. Can you put some more time into it Bungie

if no action is taken to ban users of "input manipulation devices'', this game's pvp cannot thrive. It is absolutely cheating. They have better aim and agility of MnK + controller aim assist, in addition the game will only match them against controller opponents due to input based matchmaking as it thinks they are on controller. On top of this they can add anti recoil and additional aim assist scripts. They don't even try to hide it, they'll do the jitter spin around and teabag after kills. Bungie semi-recently removed the ability to rapidly toggle crouch, which was another great tell that they were using MnK. Hiding the problem instead of solving it. the majority of this clan: [R] openly use it, no matter how many times we all report. All it would take is to watch 1 match replay.

10 RepliesCheating on console is vary rare not impossible to cheat on console they use a 3rd party hardware and anticheats have vary hard time detecting it. You can report them straight to console maker tho becuase they can detect a lot better and if they are cheating and get caught Sony or Xbox will brick their console they take it vary seriously

You're on Playstation, yes? They're on custom firmware. That's how they cheat. Go out of your way to take clips and report to Sony. They take this very seriously. Treat it like activism, be persistent, and you'll get them banned. No mercy.

It takes nothing to wander down to your game shop and buy a cheat box (no brand names !! ), that is, if you can get one because they are always sold out. And if they have a Steam account, report them on that too. I've gotten a few banned lately. At least Steam take it seriously..

1 ReplyIt’s disgusting. I was just in a game where half my team quit after two minutes. I know exactly why. It’s so dumb. But nothing will ever happen. Don’t buy the expansion. Move on. Easier said than done but it’s the only way.

In my around 2500 hours of playing destiny, I’ve only encountered like 1 cheater on console: he one shouted riven in last wish before the encounter even started 💀💀

I’ve seen bad connection against other players but I’ve also received messages saying that I have terrible connection. I think it all comes down to with the game values Skill over connection for matchmaking.

I went in for a couple of matches last night, out of curiosity and boy oh boy, it somehow got worse. Lag, hit registration out for lunch, most likely a couple Cronus and even saw a Titan cast his super within the first minute of a Control match. I don’t know how you guys keep complaining about pulse though. I mainly see HC being used.

I play Xbox and I have had 2 seperate matches with blatant cheats. A nova bomb spamming Titan and a flying golden gun spamming hunter. “BuT ItS ImPoSsIbLe To ChEaT on cOnSoLe” No. No it’s not. -

My former clan leader averaged 30 reports a match, he reported everyone who killed him multiple times for network manipulation, he never got outplayed, it always always "They were lag switching!!!!" I left that clan, and blocked him, but I think you would get along with him

Bungie are crooks who supports and condones cheaters by their blatant hate of honest players and disregard for their customer. I still believe that we need consumer protection action against game companies that fail to uphold standards of service and produce delivery

Mnk, 3rd parties the no-no devices, and hooking consoles to pc. The last part is becoming more prevalent as 1 can see by clicking on the player’s name. And some infos has been circulating on the internet so there’s no denying that this doesn’t exist.
