I'll give you kudos for the explore mode on dungeons. While it's only been one so far, kudos. Having said that, here the critique, this should have been all along with the dungeons and raids after they were completed. I'm 100% ok not getting the exotic from set dungeon or raids on explorer. It's hard to hook up on LFG groups if you don't know the dungeon or raids. Little on the late side, but better late than never. This should have been a thing after first completion a month or two after. Again kudos.

I love it. it’s super laid back and quick for when I get off work and want to snag a few dungeon weapons I hope they do this more with other dungeons. I do like doing The master dungeons Sometimes but if my friends aren’t on I don’t like to play with others off a Fireteam finder because they lack the gear to do so

I just wish that they would have made explorer unlock the trophies - at least for solo completions. But other than that it's a great addition to the game.

I feel like that shouldn't have been a thing as that will just lead people to not knowing wtf to do in normal. Leading you through the maze = fine, telling you how to damage a boss = fine, pointing you to nodes would be fine but it should have pointed you at the next node, not several nodes at once. Did they think that would go over the average players heads or something? I never did normal because when it initially came out it frequently dc'd people for days and I gave up. Hopefully explorer Ghosts tells me how to do first boss correctly in a multiplayer setting as I always just clear trash whenever I ran it.

I've jumped into attempting dungeons as a result of this mode. I've only had the time so far for a few matchmade runs only, but it's given me a chance at learning without feeling like I was being carried in a regular dungeon. Like you, I'm fine with not getting the exotic or triumphs. I do have the Spire available as a regular dungeon, so I'll be able to get the exotic. My major comment in explorer mode is that the popups happening in the middle of an arena is a pain. Trying to read them as a newbie was almost impossible. Flinch and trying to avoid dying meant it took me quite a while to finish reading them through. It'd be nice to have the popups available to read before entering the arena. It would make it easier to then process what the mechanic being introduced is, and then in the arena, be able to identify it under fire. My thanks to the dev teams for putting this together.

The only minor criticism I have of the explorer dungeons is that based on TWAB they appear to be limiting it to Spire, Ghosts of the Deep and Prophecy. Would have been nice to see the other dungeons included at some point as well.

Agree with your take that its good yet this is just something that always shoulda been in there... ..really fun (and useful to also take your time in solo dungeon and of course go quicker with matchmade... ... really helped to hear and see the increased drops of both weapons and currency for simply enemy kills [b]EDIT>>> I believe this (extra drops from enemies) is a bit buggy and not always working (tried in explorer and eternity.. seems limited maybe per day?)....[/b] ....quests further increase the interest My main critique is that the next level difficulty should have matchmade with the stipulation being a certain amount of explorer completions or individual dungeon score... I think the instructions can still be more guiding.. -
Major Kudos. i really appreciate and enjoyed explorer mode. Beung a primarily solo player. I was able to experience the dungeons and learn the mechanics with little stress involved. I really appreciate the effort that you all put into making it accessible and playable to solo players in order to learn mechanics. we would really appreciate having this as an option available to any new content coming out, as it will allow us to take on the dungeons at our own pace and understand the mechanics. I agree. The explorer mode was a great addition. No please scrap the vague wording such as "short duration" and "deal increased damage" and replace it with specifics, such as "increases damage by 10% for 10 seconds." It's a fooking chore having to test sheet out only to have you change everything and then be left knowing nothing. It's like you evil fooks want us to attend Bungo university only to give out useless degrees which in 5 months will be void and null...forcing us to attend your shiddy ska-hool all over again.
