Just a heads up. Played with so many players tonight that had extremely passive play styles. That’s not how trials plays out. Sure there are certain situations where not rushing is the right move, but not rushing and playing passive are two different things. And also play the zone and with your teammates. Sometimes the flank is the right move, but not if it’s going to take more than a couple seconds and not if you have one teammate down. And it’s not just the new players, still getting players playing very passive in 7-0 pool.

It depends, I've seen very strong passive players and very weak. Usually a strong team uses a strong rush player and a strong passive player with the 3rd following the rusher.
-
Better than pretending they’re the main character and selling every round lol
-
Nah, most of my teammates end up dying within like 10 seconds cause they push. I just play back, take control of lanes, pick them off with Jade rabbit, win.
-
Can't win in poker if you don't raise Doesn't mean you always need to raise But you need to at some points Same goes for pushing in trials Sometimes it's better to play safe, but a lot of these people act like if they die in the game they'll die in real life. They don't hold angles, they don't help their teammates, and they run away if they take a single shot from anything. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten killed because I risked myself to save a teammates life, only to figure out that by the time the fight finished that teammate had completely abandoned me to die on my own.

Well it goes to show how many people don’t play and/or don’t care about PvP. Hence why it’s a side mode.

Went to light house four times it just a challenge

Edited by NotCreative123: 3/23/2025 1:24:00 AMAgreed. Too many players sit back and wait. It is far better to take initiative and fight for control of the zone (or heavy) And for goodness sake! CHALLENGE WHEN YOU HEAR YOUR TEAMMATE CHALLENGE You're absolutely right about flanking. Most flanks simply take too long and are too risky. Anything past like 5 seconds is too long, and it requires you to have a very coordinated and AGRESSIVE team supporting

Agreed

I totally agree with this. Knowing when to peak and not peak seems to be a skill people need to play more 3’s to maybe acquire. So often I get 1-2 players one shot and have to dip back into cover and my teammate hasn’t peaked with me or even peaking as I switch out. I know with no comms it’s hard but sometimes it’s like players are waiting for you to get the first kill entirely before peaking or pushing anything.

Nor does it in quick play ! All or nothing .

And resing teammates just to get them farmed doesn’t help anybody but the other team. Remember, super energy is based on kills and DAMAGE, not to mention procing kill based weapon perks. So learn when and how to revive and put damage on anything you see, don’t hold your fire just to try and get a little closer or something or to have “the element of surprise” most good players will know you’re there, unless you have invis and are crouching, and even then, good players will most of the time know. Shoot everything you see and reposition often. Also bows aren’t a good option for 99% of the population, sure they can be effective teamshooting but for the majority of people, just stay away from bows, especially solo.

Oh it definitely gets you somewhere

You should always be trying to, moving to, or actively shooting someone while avoiding getting shot as much as possible if you don't have zone on lock. If you aren't actively countering your opponent they will counter you.
