I was banned a couple months ago out of the blue, and immediately submitted an appeal, however there's been no indication of whether anyone has seen the request, or how long I should expect to wait for an answer. It's been almost 2 months since I opened the appeal and it's been completely silent.
Did too many people get laid off this time? How long does this appeal process expect to take?

Hello there, Support does not review game bans, that job is soley on Bungie Security Response Team. While all appeals are reviewed by them, they do not always reply or close the tickets. Typically, they will only reach out if more information is required or if the ban/restriction is overturned or modified. If you have not heard back in more than a month, it is most likely safe to say your ban was not overturned.

nah bro they don't look at -blam!-. I was randomly banned 2 months ago as well, appeals were set to "high priority" an hour after creation, then zero response. Didn't close the appeal, send an automated message, they don't have an email, live chat, or phone number etc. literally no communication. Which is funny because how the -blam!- can you appeal a ban if you aren't even told what you supposedly did lmao. Especially funny since they have a history of this https://www.pcgamer.com/bungie-is-giving-destiny-2-players-dollar45-of-in-game-currency-to-say-sorry-for-accidentally-banning-them-from-the-game/ but ya, better just give up hope tbh, they don't look at this -blam!-.

There is no guarantee on how long/short the appeal process can take. The typical time is within a month-ish. Being that yours has been over 2 months now, it’s very likely your ban was upheld.

Never a guarantee you will get an answer. If it's been 2 months and no answer then your ban has pretty much been upheld
