I agree. It’s not fair to solo players. Also it would make more players come back to Destiny 2 as well as bring more in.

Bungie would need to completely rewrite the code for dual destiny.
-
It’s an MMO. Don’t expect to be able to do everything solo.
-
I’m expecting for it to be inclusive to all of the players.
-
Why? Not being facetious, it’s a legitimate question. Do you have experience with other games with MMO aspects? Having activities that reward players for solo or group accomplishments accordingly has always been a commonplace feature in such a genre. Do you think raid exotics should have a route to be obtained solo (when they are current/not sunset)? If so, I’d love to know why. It’s essentially the same principle, some stuff has a group requirement, some does not. The exotic class items don’t make or break your builds, there is nothing you can’t do in this game that also requires you to have the most optimized build possible at a given time. I just watched a video of a player soloing this weeks GM in all white gear and 2 green guns. No matter the gear you have, you still need to know how to play well or be able to use it well in order to achieve your given goal. So at the end of the day, the class item doesn’t matter and isn’t as special or good as you are leading yourself on to believe, and if you believe you are entitled to a route of getting it because of this fallacy, there’s nothing the game can do to change that mentality.

It is. Fireteam finder, LFG and even friends are available to you!
-
But the chances of finding a nice genuine person is very slim.

Edited by Goon: 8/7/2024 12:17:42 PMThey are not. This is spoken like someone who’s never actually used LFG and is using this as an excuse based solely on hearsay.
-
I’ve used it a few times.
-
Sounds like a you problem then. Learn how to talk to people. Destiny is a cooperative game.
-
I know how to talk to people but the last time I tried talking and they wouldn’t talk back.
-
Okay? So try again? You’re just making excuses.
-
What generation are ya repping? People post “helping” forums, definitely look for one if you are struggling. Also, create your own LFG grp and just be clear about what your level/expectations are, i.e, “First time run, patient,” or “Need some help, new but have coms,” etc would go a long way. If they don’t talk at the outset when you say hello after inviting, boot and get someone who has a mic or uses chat coms.

No game is a one-size-fits-all. Destiny 2 is an MMO, meaning its’ target audience is those who play online with other people. If you want a game that caters to solo players, go play a single-player-game.
-
It shouldn’t be like that though. It’s misinformation.
-
Nobody has ever stated you can do “all” activities in Destiny 2 solo. Not the marketing team, not the developers, no one. Therefore, there is no misinformation, only perceived misinformation which should more accurately be identified as assumptive information. It’s a game with MMO aspects, which means not everything can be played or achieved solo. The game can be played by, essentially, anyone however, so it is inclusive in that regard.
-
Is the misinformation in the room with us right now?
-
How? Where is the misinformation?
-
I'm confused. Where's the misinformation for the game that's always been advertised as a multiplayer game at. If you're making the choice not to play the game, the intended way with other people then deal with your choice and stop making it everyone else's problem.
-
The misinformation it being inclusive to all. It’s not inclusive to all.
-
You do know it doesn't have to be right? You also do know when bungie means that they just mean everyone can play the game, not that everyone can do everything in the game, right? More importantly, you do realize that in life, some people aren't going to be able to do certain things because life isn't fair. Most people usually learn that early on.

Solo players come off a pretty exclusive if you ask me.
