Just do the mission. If you need help, I can take you through it. As long as you can pull up a vow Symbol sheet on your phone, hear me and put 4 numbers in chat at the end I can help.
If you can't hear, I can still help, but I'll need to explain it over text before we start.

That’s the problem with the mission. I believe most of these solo players are just bad at pictionary. I am too i always die while trying to match the symbols on my phone. I don’t know these 20 something symbols and am not trying to learn. Pictionary sucks and so does this mission. The dlc as a whole is kinda lame.

At least you admit that you don’t want to make the effort to learn, this is refreshing honesty from someone who hasn’t gotten it yet! There will always be those that try and those that don’t want to. Both are 100% ok, but the right to complain/be upset by these things should be reserved for those who actually put in the effort required of them when the barriers to entry are small and essentially equal for all. Just need a mic/chat and a willingness to learn, those are the barriers. If you have time to unlock the mission, you have enough time to do it as well, so “time” isn’t a feasible offering for a barrier.

Everyone who bought the dlc has the right to complain about the parts of it they do not like. Its called feedback. It’s just the childish” im blind and paralyzed “thats pure entertainment.

Edited by Tippstir91: 8/7/2024 4:13:30 PMI like the overall sentiment of the statement because it reminds me of the voting analogy for sure. I’m compelled to almost agree except that when pondering that, I couldn’t bring myself to the same conclusion; if I buy the DLC, but then don’t make an effort to participate in the content the way it was designed, are my complaints really valid ones? Imagine you’re a utensil salesman/saleswoman or maker and you get a complaint from your consumers that your product doesn’t allow everyone to eat equally. You ask the customers how they are using it that doesn’t allow them to eat equally to others and they say they are using the utensils backwards but expect equal results. Whose fault is that really? That’s kinda where I stand with all this. I’d be more willing to agree with the sentiment that it’s not “fair” etc if most of the people behind that sentiment made a bare minimum effort to engage in the content they paid for the way it was intended to be used. If the mission was too hard in and of itself, that to me would be a much more valid complaint. But the whole “it isn’t soloable so I want event attempt it,” argument isn’t very substantive.

For sure, the solo argument is just lame. Most games in the history of gaming have 2 player mode or else why luigi? I tried that mission twice. It’s not for me. Thats great if others like it. Bungiies real mistake was putting the class item behind it. That and making the class item a big part of prismatic. I just use the rocket chest on my prismatic titan.

I think with some of the build combos and whatnot it definitely makes people think it’s more important or “crucial” than it really is and so yes, the sentiment toward this item and mission are greater to the disappointment we would see on something like a raid exotic. Having said that, there is absolutely nothing you can’t get done in this game without the perfectly rolled class item. Whatever the mission/goal is, it can still be done without this class item, so it really shouldn’t be held in such perceived high regard.

That's exactly what I had to do I forgot all the callouts
