The class item is added to the pale heart loot pool on completion of the mission. Now, a solo version of the mission DUAL destiny makes no sense, seeing as how it's literally in the name that you need 2 people. Instead of waiting and demanding changes, why not just do the mission already, and then you can farm it solo all you want after.

Could have been done and dusted several times over now for many people in the time all the outrage has played out in. Some form of coms, and a willingness to get it done as opposed to complaining about how it’s structured. That’s all you need to do it. This coming from a mostly solo player myself. Not saying we all share the same mentality, but the route to obtaining what you desire is right there, you need only walk it or stand still where you are.

I’m not coming after you personally or anything like that so please don’t take it that way, but those who are standing on the “make it solo obtainable” side of the “class item debate” have, in general, been fauxed outraged about an issue that is so minuscule and so easily avoided that there’s little common ground to be found. Wouldn’t be, in some way, upset about it if you weren’t making posts about it, isn’t that fair to ascertain? And again, not attacking you, just this sentiment in general from that side of the debate that it’s something we really need to be upset about when there’s a lot more to be upset about right now, like the game being bad in general. Im also willing to help btw if you or anyone else is in need or looking to compete DD 1x on each toon to be able to unlock the farm! :)

But upset and outraged are not the same thing. I also don't think it's fair to lump people together like that. I was mugged by a white guy once. But that's not to say all white guys are criminals. OP hasn't really done anything to make me expect they were outraged or feeling entitled so it just seems strange to me that so many people are making accusations like that. And thank you for the offer but I'm alright. The exotic class items are not to my taste. I wouldn't wear them if I was paid to.

I agree totally on both your points, they are two different levels of being discontented and it’s 100% not fair, or ethical like you pointed out (sorry that happened to you btw) to lump things together like that; that’s why I wanted to clarify that I was not attacking you personally or anything of that sort :) If they are attacking you personally then yeah that is odd, but I can feel the frustration of the whole debate on both levels at this point so I’m not surprised it comes to that in many cases. No worries, if you or anyone else want help actually acquiring the item I’d be more than happy to help, won’t take more than like 20 minutes at a time with some form of coms :)

Trials used to be fireteams only untill about I wanna say 2 years ago.

It is completely different for a 3v3 mode to get a solo or duo matchmaking and comparing it to a pve mission that requires 1 other person who has to communicate. Adding matchmaking to the mission will only lead to people who start it up and don't communicate, which just makes a run ruined or a waste of time. Comparing to completely separate modes is pointless.

Just proves that just because something was exclusive to pre-made fireteams doesn't mean it can't have matchmaking.

If that's the point they are trying to make, then that is a pointless one to make. A mode of 3v3 makes sense to have matchmaking, but a mode that needs 1 person that has to be able to communicate doesn't need and shouldn't have matchmaking. You'd always get the people who won't communicate that go into matchmaking, and then you just started a useless run.

You'd always get the people who won't communicate that go into matchmaking, and then you just started a useless run.[/quote] I'm not taking sides here, I've seen alot of posts about this class item and other ways to obtain it, the Dual Destiny mission was one of the best missions I've played in Destiny 👍👍 and I agree with you Bungie should leave it the way it is, on the other hand there's alot of players who enjoy running solo and spend just as much money/time on this game than people running with friends/lfg so I'm hoping later on they make another way to obtain it for the solo players👍

I would assume that at some point, it will be a reward from some other activity, but it will most likely still require you to have completed the mission beforehand to have it drop from whatever it gets added to
