I mean, I've never been but generally Greece offers great tourism, and it is a historical sight from the Peloponnesian War.

Argos seems cool, its also one of the oldest inhabited cities in Europe. Oh the great Peloponnese. Argos was known for their fierce warriors, Sparta was known for beautiful women. Sparta had a warrior classed society, but a little known fact is that they weren't necessarily the best warriors of the Greeks, and they needed men to be warriors due to having a very small city and population compared to nearby city-states. The battle of Thermopylae is remembered as a great heroic and historic Spartan battle of 300 Spartans, however most people forget that there was also about 700 Thespians, 400 Thebans. Various other Greek city-states sent a few hundred troops from the Mantineans, Tegeans, Arcadians, Corinthians, Phlians, Mycenaeans, Malians, Phocians and Eastern Locrians. In total the Greek Army numbered 7,000 men that held the pass of Thermopylae for 48 hours against an onslaught of 300,000 Persians to include the Persian Immortals. Spartans were militaristic and had great battle tactics, their society was its own undoing though...
