Pvp is almost unplayable.
Pvp has no soul and is dry. Unique builds are not there anymore and everything is broken or not good at all with no in the middle kind of deal. Crucible qp is whatever. Lack of game modes and maps have dried the playerbase. We all know it.
Trials is pretty sad lately with bad loot and capture zone weeks. I love these game but idk how long i can keep trying to justify why I keep playing it.

Mayhem. Just look how high the PvP numbers spike when Mayhem is on the weekly rotation. Why isn't it a permanent mode yet?

Basically... This is what happens when the players cry about everything in the game. Nerf this, Nerf that, oh I got killed by a hand cannon again because it's OP, I need to cry about it, oh I got killed by no time to explain, let me go cry, I got killed by DMT it's broken and must be nerfed. Hunters jump too much, Nerf stompees so hunters can use another exotic. In air accuracy changes get applied, now it's the worst game mode ever. Nerf this Nerf that. This is what is destroying crucible!

Or they are streamers and content creators. So the matches are super sweaty...and everyone is running the meta. Which is why Bungie is bringing back SBMM in an effort to give the game some room to breath...and make it enjoyable for a wider variety of players. But if you're a player of average ability? Playing Control right now is a pretty miserable experience.

The problem is crucible needs more fun modes like mayhem and scorch. Team hive swords Relic brawl(you spawn with random relics) capture the flag King of the hill Griff ball could technically be made in D2 Big team Vehicle rumble Grenade dodge ball (Grenades regen faster)

3 RepliesBro I'm just hating the balance of everything. Right now glaves are my big thing. Like they aren't great unless you build into them. But why on earth can you block damage while being able to shoot and do damage? It should be one or the other. I can't reload and shoot at the same time.

Definitely think that a substantial majority of people will like the qp changes next season. Trials has some abilities in it that are probably more than a little much but that stuff can be changed relatively easily these days, and the loot and stuff will be different once the new season starts. There's only two weeks left and once the new season starts there will be a larger portion of the playerbase that's able to take interest in PvP. And the new subclass reworks are about to come out, so there's definitely plenty to look forward to.

If it’s unenjoyable for you, stop playing it. Take a break from the game. Even if all the things you mentioned were going to be fixed, it wouldn’t happen overnight. A lot of the frustration on these forums comes from people who can’t stop playing something they’re not enjoying. The game is still enjoyable if you don’t overplay it 👍 -

Yeah it's pretty boring now. You can only try certain builds for a while before you realize all that you're doing is putting yourself at a disadvantage for no gain.

1 ReplyAgreed, it’s been neglected for far too long. I stopped playing with the introduction of classy restoration/Lorely. I know I’m not spelling that right. Having to “kill” someone 2-3 times per engagement is a joke. It’s sad really. This game has so much potential (pvp) and they have squandered any good will or opportunities to improve it over the last almost 4 years now.
