Hi, I just bought a brand new sealed copy Destiny The Collection only to find out that the codes for the expansions expired 4 years ago. I know the codes haven’t been used because when I try to redeem them the content shows up but when I click confirm it says “The prepaid card could not be redeemed. Please try again later.” I read online you gave some people grace periods when they bought new copies of older games and is there any way this is possible? This is my favorite game and I really really would like to be able to play it fully. I asked PlayStation support and they said to contact Bungie about it but online I’ve read that I should contact PlayStation. I just don’t know what to do

All retail codes for the original Destiny expansions have expired. Bungie does not issue or replace expired codes. At this time your best bet is to return the game to the retailer as defective and buy the collection directly from the console marketplace.

Bungie can’t help you. Your best option is to try to get refund from retailer you bought from, then buy digital version from console store. The only time I’m aware of that Bungie made an exception was when the codes were showing up expired when redeemed but they hadn’t actually expired.

Picture of codes being valid

Nothing can be done other than try to get a refund from whom you purchased the product from.
