For whatever reason, back in Destiny 1 I really enjoyed the exotic machine gun, "Nemesis Star." It was by far the best machine gun for PvP, and in PvE was also pretty solid, especially with certain builds. For those that didn't play D1 or don't remember, the weapon's exotic perks were "Extinction Cycle": On trigger pull, this weapon's initial burst has a higher rate of fire, and "Strange Gravity": When holding down the trigger, range and accuracy increase as rate-of-fire decreases. Kills grant bonus Grenade energy. This basically makes it act like a reverse Thunderlord, with a better version of Demolitionist. With machine guns getting a buff next season, it would be a great time to bring it back, but I think it should get a buff to hopefully make it less obscure than it was in D1. I'm thinking they should make the original fast burst be able to stun overload champions to give it a little more relevance in PvE. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Edited by SoleMoney931301: 8/16/2022 9:03:39 PMI completely agree. There are a lot of good weapons in the current version of the game that I like, I have it or I haven't got it yet.

Khvostov, as it was. I mean, if we're picking bad exotics to redo...
-
No one used that gun, recoil was impossible to control. They pretty much brought everything back. I want Boolean Gemini back, interesting what they would do to it in d2.
-
Zen meteor would be nice since it never had its time to shine and all the other venders have exotic weapons tied to them in d2
-
Pocket infinity. I dare them to bring it back
-
Zhalo supercell
-
Red Death... 👋
-
My weapon of choice to return from D1 would be zhalo I would trade risk runner for zhalo permanently
-
Give me my Tlaloc
-
Invective!
-
Never got it in D1 so I’m down

I played D1. They blew up our vault for some reason because they want us to start over with new guns. So I bought D2 and I end up still playing D1 content with my old D1 guns!😂😂😂 Imagine blowing up your vault, then end up getting and playing the same old guns.😂😂😂 One of them you have to pay again after blowing it up!😂😂😂 If gamers don't see this as a joke. Then they must really like bending over or kneeling down.😂😂😂

I want necrochasm back
-
I remember getting a nemisis star out of a blue engram twice during my time in d1. Would love to see it return as we dont have many exotic machine guns, and now we got two arc ones with overture. i want a solar machine gun.

That was a good machine gun. I never used it much though. I usually used dragon’s breath or young wolf’s howl.
licks finger
That was actually my first exotic in D1. I joined right at the tail end of RoI.
