Please bring back strike exclusives
I miss the days in d1 sitting in the vanguard playlist for hours just farming strikes for the exclusives and the higher chance of better drops with each completed strike.

I kind of don’t want individual strike exclusive loot for two reasons I don’t want to have to hope for RNG to play a specific strike, and strikes are boring enough when they happen twice in a row or 2 out of 3 played strikes in the play list. Maybe if we were getting 3-4, or even 5 new strikes a year I wouldn’t mind replaying each of them a few times to get exclusive loot. But if he played most strikes to death. Put the exclusive loot in the seasonal activities. And then just add them to the world vanguard playlist loot pool in the next “year”.

5 RepliesUntil they lost its value when comes to the rise of iron Dlc with the introduction of the skeleton keys that took away the hard grind for them that was an challenge with the taken king.

6 RepliesRemember that by Year 3 of D1, Skeleton Keys were available. They dropped at random after a strike plus you got 1 guaranteed key after your first nightfall of the week. Skeleton keys opened the cache at the end of a strike and you you can stack keys and select a specific strike to run.

There's really no good reason for us to not have strike exclusives or at least make the nightfall weapons drop in regular strikes at a significantly reduced drop rate.

5 RepliesEw, no thanks. I’d rather just have a lot more vanguard weapons in the loot pool. Strike specific loot was neat sure, but a pain in the -blam!- to grind.

Too late imo. I can't even get myself to do a single strike these days anymore. Couldn't imagine how dull it would be to "have to" play the same 7 year old strikes again for targeted farms now. These strikes are older than most players, how anyone can repeatedly run those these days is mind blowing to me.

Just add ALL the Armour from Destiny 1 to the loot pool as Ornaments. NOT that Moronic 10 Pieces a Season Bull$h!t Faction , Vendor , Event , Raid. Make them Random Drops from everything. Except maybe raid make them tradable with spoils or whatever that $h!tty item is that keeps me from still getting raid exotics . Thanks by the way for that FK You to Casuals, really nice of you Bungie Fk 🙊s . have them drop in raids randomly from chests or bosses ,the D1 Raid Armour ornaments. And bring back some of the guns even if there is already a Reskinned Destiny 2 version that you think we don’t notice is a reskin.

Yes I would like strike specific loot like we had in D1 to be added to D2 but to the vanguard strike list(or vanguard ops as its now called) instead of just the nightfall.

15 RepliesWhat was special about strike exclusives? We have nightfall drops and season pass armor that gets broken down into ornaments anyway. Also seasonal activities to add our grind. And yet you want to add the basic strike playlist to your grind?

D1 got better guns though. The strike exclusive rewards on some guns are really good, especially some scout rifles. In D2, even if they do this with strike exclusive rewards, it won't matter because they neutered the guns in D2. 😂😂😂 They can throw all the rewards they want on any activity, it won't matter because they are all shooting potatoes. 😂😂😂 Except when they reward handcannons in D2, they are like snipers and shotguns all in one! 😂😂😂

1 ReplyThis is what I personally love about the guardian game’s MatchMaking 1550 NF, it feels just about as challenging as a regular strike and I keep getting NF exclusive loot and exotics to drop almost every run. Bungie seems pretty adamant on not returning to strike specific loot but at least there’s a decent way currently to get strike loot
