Why are so many players against fusion rifles being decent???
What is the reason why you hate them so much??
Is it because they prevent you from straight lining for a ez kill or poor decisions??
Do players know you can play with a shotgun or fusion both defensively and offensively??
Are players really about that unbalanced and boring HC and SG life???
There is literally a charge indicator when using a fusion rifle which basically gives you some info alongside your radar on where the opponent is.
I don’t know how many times me charging the fusion rifle has worked against me versus for me.
Sounds like some “Get Good” nonsense to me.

It is a high-risk/high-reward weapon that relies on getting that OHK in order to be effective. As well as being able track/predict your opponent's movements, and how to manage the charge-up time. If you miss, odds are you'll die before you get off a second shot. The problem is that makes them a direct counter to two of the most favored play styles by those shooter bros who fancy themselves as "high skill" players. 1. Hand cannons 2. Shotgun rushers. Many hand cannon users make poor use of cover, and rely upon twitch speed, making people miss with strafing and running away from losing fights in order to be successful. A good fusion rifle player can reach out and shut that down. But instead of taking the lesson that they need to make better use of cover, these players whine that FRs are OP and are "no skill" weapons. Also fusion rifles have the power to reach out and kill shotgun apes as they charge at you across open ground. Believing that you're stuck with trying to take them out with a primary. But instead of taking the lesson that they need to make better use of cover, and learn how to close the gap without just running at you and face-tanking.....they complain that FRs are OP. So the reality is that this season is the outlier. For most of Destiny's life, Bungie has caved to these players, and so FRs wind up spending most of their time broken. Because Bungie nerfs them in ways that make them inconsistent....and an inconsistent FR is a high-risk/no-reward weapon. So no one uses them.
