Right.
Trials labs has been a good idea, allowing the player base to choose whether they like an idea before actually adding it.
I have a new idea for it.
A lot of people are angry about the meta being “zero skill” and “brainless”
I have a solution
Ban certain weapons on certain days- for example, On Friday, say there’s no fusion rifles or auto rifles. On Saturday, no linear fusion rifles and no hand cannons, on Monday, no pulse rifles or shotguns. And on Tuesday, no sniper rifles or grenade launchers.
Heavy ammo isn’t such a problem as it’s one round. But the other weapon archetypes can get annoying. Doing this method can stop people getting angry at the current trials meta as each day, it will be different. Hell, why don’t you ban a subclass too! Four days and four subclasses. Could be fun?

2 RepliesEdited by A_mo528: 2/6/2022 4:35:49 PMIt might be better if instead of "banning" there were just identified weapons that you could use. So one day would be hand cannon/shotgun day that everyone had to use and the next day would be pulses and smgs and so on and so forth. Then no days would be fusion rifle day because I can't help myself but to type that. I wouldn't even mind if the game picked everyone's weapon round to round fiesta style. Might not be the most competitive thing to do to Trials but Trials already has Main Ingredient in it. This would just be a labs experiment of course.

4 RepliesNope. It is against the spirt of the Trials pvp mode. Trials is a hard core anything goes pvp mode created to challenge the best players skill. If you want to ho to the Lighthouse then you have to prove you are worthy by defeating all opposition no matter what skill level they are or what they use as they will also do anything to win.
