As the title.
The addition of separate charged uncharged melee options was most welcome but it doesn't really work properly for titans.
The change stated: If you assign charged melee and uncharged melee to the same input, it will always prioritize the charged melee over the uncharged melee, which is the opposite behavior of the auto-melee action.
The problem is it doesn't really work or do the opposite for a titan. By opposite of the standard auto-melee I want it to always use the powered option if available and if not the unpowered.
THE PROBLEM, a titan can have their melee charged up but not be able to use it because they are not sprinting. In such a case using the both bound to the same key option just does nothing as it tries to activate the powered melee which is charged but which can't be used as you are not sprinting.
This means with both options bound to one key a titan cannot use its unpowered melee when not sprinting with its melee ability charged.
Any chance of a fix/change? or a workaround?

7 RepliesHey, This is just how it works, unfortunately. If you have both charged and uncharged melee bound to the same input, it will always prioritize the charged melee. It is not context dependent. If your charged melee has additional requirements that haven't been met, then using the input will do nothing as long as you have a charge available. The only workarounds are to use auto-melee, use separate inputs for the two actions, use a different subclass, or consume your melee charge as soon as it is available.
