This is all just a wacky dream I had last night but I just had to write it down somewhere. I was in the game when the dream became lucid, and so I went and explored all the crazy subclasses and exotics that had been added to the game. This is what I can remember:
Lightfall added the poison element Vapor, to no surprise. Pretty sure thats been leaked a while ago. The final element that got added to the game was a gravity based element called Null, and it had a red UI. The symbol for Vapor was a swirlier version of the solar element, and was green, obviously. The symbol for Null was like a solar eclipse just about to reach totality.
Titans got the Vapor subclass Paladin, which had a roaming super called Doomblade, which slowed your movement but increased your resilience. The titan drags a massive sword behind him on the ground, and it left a green scrape on the floor wherever you dragged it. It had two attacks, a massive swing in an arc around you and a projectile attack similar to the swords in Pit of Heresy, but they pierce targets and are way bigger. The melee attack was a medium ranged slam where the titan pulls out the sword and slams it into the ground for AOE damage.
Hunters got the Shredder subclass, which had a new dodge called Frenzied Dash, which replaced gambler's dodge. When used near an enemy, the hunter would all fours rush towards the nearest enemy and slash them for like 50 damage before dashing back. It had a pretty long animation so it wasn't as good as it sounds. The melee was called Slash, and it was a high damage (think frontal assault) attack with further lunge distance. The super was called Berserk, and was similar to spectral blades. The hunter gained increased speed and ran on all fours. The melee attack was empowered to one shot non supers, and could be fired off pretty fast. The heavy attack could be charged to increase range and would jump at the nearest enemy and rip them apart. The tracking on this move was stupid.
The warlocks got the Vapor subclass Necron, and it had a one off super called Ressurection. Yeah they gave the warlock back their self rez. If used while alive, the warlock fires off a large wave of mean looking spikes charged with vapor in the direction the warlock is facing. It travels on walls as well. If cast while dead, the warlock revives themself, creating a much smaller but no less lethal shockwave of Vapor spikes around the point of death. Reviving would always recharge all of your abilities. Another thing I remember is that your rift always had a damaging field around it that hurt a lot, like witherhoard a lot.
I can only remember the warlock Null subclass. It was called Unmaker. The super was in first person, and was similar to Golden Gun/Chaos Reach. The warlock fired off a massive energy laser that dealt chaos reach levels of damage, but could be controlled like a trace rifle. The melee was a two second animation where the warlock would pull everything in a cone towrds it and blast it away after.
I remember a lot of new exotics but I'll put them in another thread. Also, if you're -blam!- at crucible in the game, you'll still be -blam!- at crucible in your dreams. I tried.

Edited by AwsomeCraft360: 2/5/2022 2:36:03 AMThere are two possible reasons why this happened from a neurological standpoint. 1: You logged off the game with telesto equipped and it rewarded you with a premonition. 2: Telesto is not bugged. This would theoretically cause the threads holding space and time together to (momentarily) collapse until the telesto finds something else to bug (shouldn’t take too long). This shift in space and time would allow you to see a random point into the future.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

Here I am wishing I could at least remember my dreams and OP is over here booting up his gaming system and playing -blam!- video games in his dreams.

In my dream earlier, I was being chased by an odd looking blue elephant around my neighbourhood.

Yeah right when I read “New exotics and subclasses” I knew it had to be a lucid dream 😂 great story though!

1 ReplyA lot of people don't like hearing about other people's dreams, but I always take the time to listen or read. I find it interesting, thank you. I love dreams, they are often so much better than RL 😍

This sounds really cool? Also how long did it take you to train yourself to have a lucid dream
-
That’s a coincidence. I actually always imagined a gravity subclass being represented by the color red as well.

When I was playing way too much in D1 I had a "much smaller" dream. There was a warlock and Titan dressed in some sort of white gear walking down a hallway in which the walls, floor and ceiling were solid smooth white. I'm talking like marble or limestone smooth. They were looking for their hunter friend who was missing. Now looking back on it I guess it could be inside the traveler. It was futuristic looking and a memory I can't forget.

Lay off the skooma bro. Even in lucid dreams the hunter gets the most garbage and borderline idiotic kit I hope it stays in your skooma world.
