Edited by PhNx Hellfire: 2/5/2022 6:16:42 AMPost 2/2 -DLC: Shadowkeep- A terrible secret has been revealed: A pyramid ship is discovered beneath our moon surface. Alongside Eris Morn, we unlock its secrets and enter it only to find nightmares of former enemies including Crota await us. We gain a darkness artifact and a message: "We are your... salvation". The artifact leads us to a raid of Vex tech origin (read giant vex gate on the moon) and we find ourselves once again in the Black Garden. At the end we find out the vex guarded a secret pyramid site, hidden within the black garden, and it has a similar statue of darkness giving us... gifts... - Season 8- Season of the Undying- The Vex surge on us because of the previous raid being defeated with a mind which has so many copies of itself it isn't going to be easily beaten. We engineer a machine, attach it to the vex gate, and kill off thousands of undying mind copies to rid us of this threat on our moon. - Season 9- Season of the Dawn- The great Osiris, within the mercury infinite forest, built a sundial machine. The Red Legion remnants stole it and now seek to time travel, reverse our red war win, and restore the Red Legion to power with Ghaul back. We kill the psion counsel and osiris destroys his machine after we use the machine to time travel to mercury past and rescue Saint-14. We also... see a dead coffin... and it references us... and how we are not alive anymore to Saint and others... but can still hear his speech and message saying to fight if we are still out there. - Season 10- Season of the Worthy- Rasputin, Ana bray, and the vanguard discover a plot by red legion faction members to crash the Almighty into the Last City. We powered Rasputin's defense network and he, in turn, destroyed the almighty before it landed into the City. -Season 11- Season of Arrivals- The salvation has arrived. The Black Fleet or a portion of it. The inhabiting orbit of many of our planets (IO, Titan, Mars, and Mercury). Rasputin attempts to destroy the one going to Mars. Rasputin is defeated in a single strike and goes offline to hide from the threat. We receive messages from the pyramid ships enticing us with power. Power we can wield if we accept. Savathun makes a play to stop communication from the pyramid ships to us. We are told this makes the darkness angry and she will be punished for this offense. In the end... darkness covers all four planets... and they disappear entirely... with dark anomalies left in their place. DLC- Beyond Light (Current before Witch Queen)- While pursuing the criminal Fallen who helped Uldren killed Cayde, Variks, House of Judgment, we discover the power the darkness spoke of: Stasis. Our fallen enemies have it as well. Guardians of all kinds come to Europa to get their hands on it. Some it corrupts so much it ends up killing them. Others, like ourselves, make us become something so powerful it scares our ghosts to see us using it which in turn makes them feel farther and farther apart from the Traveler and its light. We ultimately defeat the Fallen Kell of Darkness Eramis by having stasis freeze her with the help of the Exo Stranger. Raid- There is a bunch of lore about the Deep Stone Crypt. None of it is good. To create Exos Ana Bray's father... sacrificed... destroyed... and ultimately corrupted refugees under the instruction of another darkness statue. This is why the Exo Stranger, now revealed to be Elisabeth Bray, older sister to Ana, said, "I was not born of light" back in D1 Venus. All Exo's were created in the Deep Stone Crypt and out of all the siblings? Only Ana (not exo) and Elsie survived. It was Elsie who sealed the crypt and Taniks (Fallen Exo) -blam!- it. We literally blow up Taniks to kill him for good this time. - Season 12- Season of the Hunt- Xivu Arath, upon seeing the worlds disappear, has decided to seize lands and power to grow her brood army. Osiris ghost, Sagira, has perished to learn of this. Osiris mentors Crow (formerly Uldren Sov), and we go on a mission with Crow to reclaim Hawkmoon. Crow is revealed to be in service to Spider and has explosives placed inside his ghost's shell to keep him doing Spiders bidding at all times. We defeat Xivu forces, and bargained-for Crow's freedom. Crow is now free to leave Spider. - Season 13- Season of the Chosen- Empress Caiatl of the Cabal makes landfall on Nessus and says... guardians should work under her in the Cabal army to defeat the Hive and Darkness forces or we will die separated. Osiris is employed as advisor to Zavala and using his resrouces gets Crow employed as a body guard to Zavala. Renegade forces try to assassinate Zavala when meeting for truce negotiations. Crow jumps in front of the shot and is revealed. Zavala accepts that Uldren Sov is now a guardian and Caiatl is forced into a ceasefire alliance with guardians. During a routine strike operation, a cryptic message is discovered along with a surprising amount of defenses to prevent entry. Intrigued, guardians trace the call to a now derelict ship which... just seems off. Weird fungal growths all over it. Not hive corruption, but definitely not Cabal. Secret messages left by a now very dead guardian named Katabasis reveals the truly inhuman darkness forces which hunt light-bearers and will kill on sight if provoked. The crown of sorrow is discovered on this ship and is revealed that Calus was here... and then most likely died his death... and then the entire crew was killed by hordes of scorn which reanimated back to life instantly in some cases upon death... and Katabasis ghost is revealed to have been corrupted... by choosing "salvation" over reviving his guardian. - Season 14- Season of the Splicer- Mithrax, new-formed Kell of House Light (a House which worships the Traveler and seeks to be allied with humanity), comes forward at great risk: the vex are doing strange things on the worlds we patrol. We assist because the Last City has fallen under a powerful barrier spell: The sun no longer rises on the Last City. We are in an Endless Night. We reluctantly, after many House Light warriors fell, to discover Quria, Blade Transform, operating a plan of Savathun's design to drain our resources. And drain us it does. Electricity, food, equipment breaking, and House of Light being brought into the Last City by Ikora create a powderkeg situation resulting in FWC leader, Lakshmi-2, declaring a threat of Mithrax design has been gleaned from the vex artifact they use. Meanwhile, guardians jump headfirst into the Vex network and start hitting the points to weaken the barrier spell. While doing this, Osiris starts acting strangely. Revealing... bad word choices during our missions... acting like he is someone else... Lakshmi-2 ultimately makes a treasonous play and opens a vex gate within the city walls to show the Fallen and the City the Fallen tech is not necessary for survival. Guardians end the vex incursion and FWC members, Lakshmi-2, are found dead all over on the site of the incursion. New Monarchy and Dead Orbit agree to leave on their respective ships and go to space. The Endless Night... ends. - Season 15- Season of the Lost (current season)- Savathun is revealed to be none other than Osiris and comes out of hiding due to Xivu Arath attempting to kill her and has a bargain for us: Take her worm out of her and she will reveal the truth about the Darkness. She is entombed in awoken crystal by none other than Mara Sov herself. Midseason, Crow, curious about Savathun being Osiris, does the unthinkable and disobeys all common sense to touch Savathun's crystal and get Uldren Sov's memories back. Crow takes a leave of absence to go be the liaison for the vanguard with Caiatl and Iron Lord Saladin. Mara Sov tasks guardians to combat more brood members of Xivu Arath, Scorn, and Taken in the dreaming city through the ascendant plane leylines which will bring lost techeuns to Mara Sov which will allow her to remove Savathuns worm. The techeuns currently are there, training their powers and waiting for a peak of power (read Feb 22nd Witch Queen launch) to ensure the operation goes according to plan.

Edited by PhNx Hellfire: 2/5/2022 6:16:55 AMPost 1/2 -Cayde was killed in Forsaken. Our guardian volunteered to chase down Uldren Sov, his murderer, and kill him. The final ending shot killed uldren but featured Petra Venj and our guardian pointing the guns at Uldren. It is your choice whether you killed Uldren or not. Following this kill or death, the Dreaming City was discovered and a corresponding ascendant realm known simply as "the shattered realm" wherein Oryx and his minions laid waste to it during our D1 events. The dreaming city remained untouched, however. Following the world-first raid defeat of Riven, ahamkara (read: wish dragon in the form of a serpent), the dreaming city was now cursed and laid siege to by Oryx's former forces, Xivu Arath (sister of Oryx and Hive goddess of War), and Savathun (Hive goddess of Cunning) forces with each week proving worse and worse. Pursuing these forces into the Shattered Realm dungeon proved lacking in wisdom- Killing Dul Incaru, daughter of Savathun, reset the curse and allowed the Hive more time to locate key places of interest. Their overall goal was to feed an endless death cycle to feed worms among other intelligence. This will be very important come to Witch Queen. Very important. It is revealed, near the end of the DLC initial launch, that Uldren Sov is resurrected as a guardian. We do ever find him. We do not ever see him. - Season 5- Season of the Forge- Important lore? There is a hidden group called the Black Armory. For a long time, they made weapons for normal people to fight paracasual forces with. While pursing stolen forges from the Fallen, we find a hidden sect of them inside the last city walls. Batza District. We ended this threat immediately upon finding a ketch worth of enemies inside the city walls. - Season 6- Season of the Drifter- Drifter helps open a portal into Nine Space with the Emissary inviting us through him. There we discover the Drifter is also known as Wu Ming and the former dredgen (dredgen hope). The Nine and their emissary build a game for us to combat in nine space, unknown planet. We succeed in learning the Nine are interested in light and dark combat for power and sustainability. The emissary is a former guardian (name Orin) who has ultimately been transformed into the emissary and breaks free for a quick word of dialogue that the Nine are hesitant about guardians, but it will not stop them from playing parts in our worlds. - Season 7- Season of Opulance- Calus is back and entices us to do his bidding, become his minion -blam!- called Shadow, and become his servant to live out in luxury till the end of days and then die so he can be the last survivor (no. Really. This is what he explains. He's a narcassist). During the bad season of no lore, we discover Calus is most likely no longer holding a body though. His form is an ethereal one and he inhabits machines to do his bidding. Savathun makes a play with one of Calus servants which culminates in a lost portion of the leviathan becoming INFESTED with hive corruption and seeing Savathun first marking in the raid Crown of Sorrow (this will be important later on). Ultimately the dead psion is killed. Guardian Uldren has detailing message, during the dawning, revealing he has made it to the Tangled Shore where his ghost gifts him a bowl with dawning material and wishes him a happy dawning. Guardians have seen him without his helmet and shot him until dead without warning.

2 RepliesExotics tied to the season pass are always released OP and busted, so season pass is basically pay to win (especially in PvP).

Well Pyramid ships already knew about us before the golden age, and we found one of their ships on the moon. Saint 14 is back, Eris got ice powers from pyramid and was surprised to learn pineapple was real. Beyond light happened where the Exo stranger came back as Elsie Bray. Oh and now we are entering a four way alliance built of the Cabal, Eliksni, awoken and the forces of the city. Enemies like the scorn, hive, taken and whatever is in the pyramids have joined forces under “the entity” (according to Mara the pyramids are separate from the entity that is the real threat)

Since I am awful at storytelling, I'll link the youtube of My Name is Byf. He is great at reading the lore of Destiny 2 and explaining it. He has many videos. Hope this helps you catch-up on the lore. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQZFAQPTQtrFrTu6Hb4vwsw
