holy mother of god, people STOP. They've already addressed this.

Lol like anyone with sense is going to believe them? Track records speak louder than hollow words.

Tbf they answered with the definitive “No” It’s fairly new territory they tread but that’s not to say the skepticism isn’t warranted or justifiable
Tbf they answered with the definitive “No” It’s fairly new territory they tread but that’s not to say the skepticism isn’t warranted or justifiable
They were pretty vague on the topic outside of Witch Queen. They didn’t answer with a yes or a no. It’s like when they said they weren’t going to add ghost sparrows or ships that are based off of activities into eververse anymore and then came out with an emote and shaders based off of VoG. Unless they specifically say future DLC will not have exclusives either, it’s still up in the air.

Does the expansion after WQ affect your decision to partake in WQ at all?
-
Does the expansion after WQ affect your decision to partake in WQ at all?
I never mentioned Witch Queen and neither did the OP. From the way the OP worded their post, I assume they would not purchase the next dlc or it includes the exclusives they listed.
-
You mentioned vagueness after WQ. If you’re speaking for OP with the assumption of exclusive content in the next dlc affecting this one, they would prob do best and err on the side of caution, especially because of the examples you provide, and assume they will. If that affects your, or their, decision, you gotta do what you gotta do

We know there won’t be any exclusives in WQ, but we do not know about afterwards. Exclusivity is anti consumer no matter who is doing it. It wasn’t cool that Xbox couldn’t play certain D1 strikes until after D2 came out and it won’t be cool when PS players can’t play ES6 or starfield. The supply shortage only mars things even worse.

You know, no disrespect, but you’re very pedantic. From everything I’ve seen from you on these forums, it’s like you are always looking for confrontation, and I just really don’t like you. So if it’s all the same, I’m just going to stop acknowledging you at all

It’s me posting out what they said. Whether you acknowledge it or not doesn’t change that it’s true. Don’t post on the forums if you don’t want someone correcting you when you say something incorrect.

What they addressed is WQ not having any PS exclusive, that doesn't close any chance upcoming content having PS exclusive like that one exclusive strike during Warmind (if I'm not mistaken)
-
Their concern is valid. They only said that it wouldn't happen to currently announced seasons. lightfalls seasons for all we know could be riddled with PS exclusive. Sony wouldn't spend 3.6 billion for the "future" when bungies next new game won't come out until at least 2025.
-
Yes. They specifically emphasized Witch Queen and announced seasons.
-
Q. Bungie has future games in development, will they now become PlayStation exclusives? No. We want the worlds we are creating to extend to anywhere people play games. We will continue to be self-published, creatively independent, and we will continue to drive one, unified Bungie community. Q. Will any announced seasons, events, packs, or expansions be changed or impacted by Bungie becoming part of PlayStation? No. Bungie retains full creative independence for our games and our community. Our plans for the Light and Dark Saga are unchanged, all the way through The Final Shape in 2024 There you go.
-
And what's gonna happen after that? Sony doesn't spend 3.6 billion to have essentially nothing change. The exclusives will start small like cosmetics, next you know PlayStation has unique strikes, missions, gear, etc...

After 2025? Seriously?
