Tired of the Walmart connections PlayStation guardians seem to have. When someone can teleport on a titan and nul composure you from behind, it makes playing the game pretty worthless. I’d like to go back to only playing with my platform.

You certainly can. You can find steps to do so here. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/4403006598164-Destiny-2-Cross-Play-Guide

It really undermines the issue when people make asinine statements like “ps4 players”. As if they are the problem. How many years has destiny’s servers sucked -blam!-? Long before crossplay was even thought of. Use your head.

9 RepliesYep, gigabit fibre-optic in the PS5 10gig ethernet port, totally "Walmart". Or y'know, there's more than likely some kind of -blam!- in the net code that means crossplay sucks for everyone... Seem as Xbox & PC players can also lag. Its not a one way street, remember that

1 ReplyOnly on ps4/ps5

Somewhere in the xbox settings you can if you're on pc nope it's exclusive to consoles
-
3 Replieson console you can click off crossplay in settings
-
You can, but there is a big catch. You will only matchmake with other players that have turned crossplay off. From what I have seen in this forum, the matchmaking pool is non existent.
-
Yes you can on the console settings. But you will wait forever

The answer to your Question is YES. In console Settings. The down side But you will ONLY MM those who have done the same. Meaning your MM queue will dramatically increase 10 fold And the lag you’re seeing isn’t because of the players(mostly) it’s the crossplay Net code. I have both a Series X and a PS5 and I can assure you it looks exactly the same on both sides. Some lobbies are fine. Others the opposite console team is practically teleporting. Isn’t peer2peer fun!
