I recommended a bunch in this thread.
Besides those, I couldn’t recommend Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin enough. It’s one of my favorite games ever. One half rice farming sim, one half hack ‘n slash demon fighting, and both halves are interwoven in so many beautiful ways. I love this game so much.

If you’re looking for a longer playtime (non-Rougelike), I’d say CrossCode is the longest of all the games I recommemded, though that does depend to some extent how much you want to do, as a lot of it’s optional. The Roguelikes also have the potential for more playtime, being Roguelikes. Bug Fables is probably the one with the best story. Par for the course since it’s a turn based RPG, I suppose. Sakuna does give it a run for its money, though. Ender Lilies probably has the best soundtrack & art style, though it is really, really close between that & Sayonara Wild Hearts. This one’s also a Metroidvania, and my favorite Metroidvania to boot, so bonus points. And Sakuna is probably the most elegantly designed of the bunch. The ways they wove the game’s farming & combat halves is just seamless. -One Step From Eden is my favorite Roguelike, but it can be pretty hard to get a grip on. If you pick it up I can give you a million tips, though! -Don’t Starve is an amazing survival game, if you’re willing to put in the time to learn it. -Sayonara Wild Hearts is a crazy power trip. Great game to play if you’re feeling down.
