I recently enabled cross-save and seem to have lost access to all my characters and DLCs. I thought I had chosen my PlayStation account as primary and everything worked normally initially, but as of today, it is showing steam (which is a new, never used account) as primary. I tried to deactivate cross-save, but I receive an error which says I must wait for 82 days. Is there any way to deactivate cross-save earlier? I will not need to activate it again.

Your profile currently has cross save enabled with Steam as the cross save account. This means when you log into any of the accounts on your profile you will see your Steam D2 characters and game progress. If your intention was to make the PSN account the cross save account then you will need to disable cross save and wait 90 days, then re-enable cross save and select PSN as the cross save account. Sounds like you are attempting to disable cross save but have a Silver restriction. This restriction is intentional and you will have to wait out the remaining days before you can disable cross save. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide
If players disable their Cross Save for any reason they will have to wait out the 90-day lockout before they can enable Cross Save again. There are no exceptions to this policy. Players who purchase Silver (or have Silver added to their account) cannot disable Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased or added.
