Is Bungie BLIND to Hand Cannons?

Like seriously? How hard can it be to balance hand cannons after ALL THIS TIME? Every match...hand cannon, hand cannon, dead mans tale, hand cannon, hand cannon. Why not make a hand cannon mode for PVP? Wait, no need to because it is OP and everyone uses it today in every match! This is why Halo Infinite MP is feeling MUCH better. variety of weapons. no two tapping across the map. Been with this game since Destiny 1 Beta and the crucible is in the WORST state. No new maps, maps out of rotation and turning a blind eye to balancing needs.

Here is my take: Hand Cannons are powerful, have always been powerful and will remain to be a top pick for most guardians in PvP. They can dish out decently high damage per shot, kills in three and can be easily used as a tool for peek shooting and poking enemies. I have no gripe with hand cannons at all. In fact I use them myself, but one thing that does bug me slightly is how much aim assist a hand cannon can get. Eyasluna has 80 aim assist. For a gun that allows for what I have stated above, its a little on the steep end for a HC. Even more for Hawkmoon, with 93, I say that we do a blanket AA reduction for hand cannons to put them in check and in line with other weapons, so the people who can aim well will aim well. But not after the other potent meta weapons have been addressed.
