Compare this week's update to one from 2011. It's depressing.

So the news is out: Bungie has been purchased by Sony. I don't know what this means for the future, but it has had me delving into the past, back to a time when Bungie wasn't a soulless husk. As I read Pete Parson's update, (found here), I can't help but notice how vapid it sounds. There are so many buzzwords in there, it's depressing. I can practically hear Pete's soul screaming for help. Now compare it to an update you'd see back in 2011: found here. They were fun, they had personality, and they weren't afraid of being a bit irreverent.
That's where the leadership has lead it.
