So titans have an additional, super-useful bubble that benefits the entire fireteam. Warlocks have an additional healing AOE that benefits the entire fireteam, and Hunters have...Trinity Ghoul in their heavy slot. (Edit: in their special slot, so they get a Trinity Ghoul stick; thanks for correcting me)
Titans get additional, improved glacier grenades, Warlocks get improved coldsnap grenades, and hunters...deal more reflected damage in very specific circumstances with their underpowered arc subclass. This seems so situational that it's basically useless, especially with the nerf to super energy generation and base cooldown times, ESPECIALLY in PVP.
I don't mind class-specific exotics, but at least try to give them parity, which I just don't see with these. Another reason (barring some spectacular news when more details are released) to prefer other classes over Hunters in LFGs.

I think Glauber are special weapons.
-
well for exotic armors we still miss at least 1 for every class
-
Okay, here me out: If the new Hunter exotic buffs the damage of shots reflected by Whirlwind guard SIGNIFICANTLY, and if those reflected shots can get critical hits with Divinity applied to the target...... For example: Giant Ogre Boss shoots big purple energy blasts at 9999999999 rpm (a huge exaggeration, but you you get the idea). *Pops Whirlwind Guard* *Teammate shoots Ogre with Divinity* *Ogre is now puddle of melted Hive goop*

…👀 Could be cool

I dunno arc hunter is pretty damn good combined with a sudden death with elemental capacitor and I think you might see it alot
-
Found Verdict is better and can be used with any subclass
-
I hate surplus tho

Edited by Ponchachacha: 2/1/2022 7:06:53 PMOpening shot is better than elemental and all the handling perks you can fit. You don’t need surplus

True. I still need a time lost version but I’m only 1331 light

Of course as soon as I post this, there’s a trailer right after🤦 The Glaives look interesting. Maybe I’ll be more ok with class exclusive this time round, since they seem to synergise with classes, unlike D1’s. I’ll wait and see I guess.

On the glaives: Lumina is the First support gun and doesn’t see much use. I doubt that support guns will see much use in end-game content, it’s not worth using over, idk, more ad clear. BUT! It does depend on how “busted” the bonuses are. If the mini bubble gives armor of light and/or synergises with Saint 14 helmet, it will be busted, if it doesn’t… it’ll be kinda bad. Warlocks is probably gonna be good for all the current lumina/support centered players. Hunters seem to be getting decent as clear (kinda dumb that it’s the same element as Thunderlord, Risk Runner and trinity ghoul which all fill the same role.) ammo economy and range is gonna be big for this glaive. As a Titan main I don’t see myself using the new glaive much (unless it does have those mentioned synergies) but we’ll see

Edited by FloodZ: 2/1/2022 5:10:21 PMExcept Lumina requires some awareness; you have to pay attention to where teammates are, store your noble round until they need a heal, etc. etc. You really have to like to play Mercy-type support characters. The warlock stick looks like it basically just lays down a set-and-forget healing AOE, a healing ice turret, so no real skill required. I get it that hunters are supposed to be basically "Team support? Why TF would I care about that?" But like you mentioned, another arc ad clear option just seems very redundant. Why is Bungie pushing hunters to run arc subclass, with their stick and exotic being 100% arc-focused. Titan and Warlock sticks seem to be subclass-neutral.

I dunno, I'm willing to bet you'll probably be able to do some neat things with chaining lighting effects whenever the Arc Classes get redone. Beyond that, if the chain lighting can actually kill in harder content, it might see use The bonus reflect damage all depends on numbers as to whether it's niche or trash. Like if I can make Atheon hit himself to death, that'd be pretty funny

the hunter exotic looks lame ngl, seems like raiju is still better, might be good for pve tho, who knows
-
No no no, hunters have their slide in a heavy, titans have their super in a heavy and warlocks have lumina in a heavy get it right. Then we get prospector 2.0, necrochasm 2.0, thunderlord 2.0 none of the witch queen exotics are new we already have them all.

BlizzardTrailEvery journey has its end, don't rush - old
The glaives are not heavy weapons they are special weapons
