or if you also experience this while playing Playstation.
All the time, everything you said goes both ways and we experience the same BS against Xbox players. If there is even one Xbox player in the lobby the connections can be all over the place.
I would much rather play without crossplay because of these constant lag issues, but half the time you cannot find games before the matchmaking times out when you turn it off.
I don’t think they can do anything about it considering Bungo has been completely silent about this after months of feedback, and i also think they dont even care when you consider that lag and inconsistent hit detection has always been an issue in this franchise (although crossplay made it much worse), and they only tested the crossplay connectivity in strikes.

I think problem is simple. Whenever we switch cross play off, system not searching only PlayStation/Xbox/PC players. System searching people on your platform, who ALSO switched cross play off. Because before cross play I have no difficulties in finding teammates. Now it could take over 5 minutes to find 8 players in Gambit or 12 players in Crucible. -
Crossplay off will only connect with others in same boat. And since some content still requires you to have crossplay on or even join the fireteam if someone has it on most PlayStation users just leave it on. Xbox users also need to turn it off and on in their consoles menu which of course making that more work, even less of them do that.

Yup, that is exactly why, it is a separate queue with a very small player pool since crossplay is active by default. If Bungo cant fix this connectivity issue then at the very least this should be changed so that you’ll be able to match anyone on your own platform regardless of their crossplay settings if they are not in a fireteam with players from other platforms.
