As an Xbox player, I'm not too disappointed because the OG creators of Halo aren't all working for Bungie anymore. Besides, we've seen Bungie favor Playstation in the past with their exclusives.
So, with this deal, will Xbox and PC players have to deal with exclusive content not being offered to them? Will some activities be time gated? If nothing bad happens, I don't care.
Now, will Sony give Bungie more money so they can pump out more content? Will this new content be avaliable for all players? If yes, I don't understand why this is a bad thing. Sony is making Destiny better for everyone.

Careful, they had this with Activision where the sales of forsaken was unsatisfactory despite the assistance of 2 studios from Activision Giving money doesn't mean nothing asked back, Sony would ask for their investment return and big profit and probably no help given so no way to say "making content is hard"

Didn't Bungie make a whole franchise exclusive to Microsoft? NEXT?

I don't think I understand what you're saying. They created Halo and had it exclusive to Xbox only. Then they split and made Destiny but gave PS exclusive content.

Microsoft turned that deal down first.

Yeah but destiny started out multi platform and should stay that way

So did the Bethesda fallout games.
