You have the License on PC.(Your Account)
Your Son has it on PS5.(his Account)
Licenses Don't Transfer. So the License on your PC account doesn't exist on your PS5 Account. Vice versa. So if you're going to play on multiple Accounts..... better cough up that dough.
Bungie doesn't control Licenses. That's PS/Xbox/PC. They control them.

100% not true. Licenses can transfer depending on the type of license. Bungie does control licenses when they enter into a-blam!- with another company. There are multiple types of software licenses. Cloud-Based, Perpetual, Proprietary, Concurrent, Subscription-Based, Floating, Feature-Based, Network, and a few others. If I buy a PS5 disk version of a game, that’s a license. Any and all accounts on the platform can utilize the software. A DLC is no different than a disk version of a piece of software other than is it downloaded. Same is true with windows, I can create as many profiles on the computer as I want and use the software. If it was a named user license such as an Adobe product, I could install that product on a million computers, Apple, Windows, Android, etc., and use the product because it is tied to an sign-in account. I wouldn’t need to buy a version for each platform I wanted to use it on. If I buy a DLC on PS5, Sony got their cut, and Bungie got their cut. If I buy it on Steam, they both still get their cut. If both Steam and Sony got their cut of the same DLC, then why would Bungie accounts that are authorized to use the DLC going to have to pay again? GREED, and unethical. It is effectively applying multiple license layers on the same piece of software.
