Who is your guardian now?

My previous post covered who your guardian(s) might've been prior to being resurrected, well this is post resurrection. My titan is just about the only character I have spent a lot of time deliberating on what kind of person he is after all the god slaying and loot grinding. I've come to the conclusion that he's the hero/hive bane everyone says he but terribly tired. He's only been alive in his second life since the alpha days (less then a decade) and he's killed more cosmic collapsing gods and ruinous bosses then he can remember. His life has been short compared to someone like Saladin or Zavala yet he's always risen to the challenge to kill yet another god that threatens the city. After all the killing he's tired and would love nothing more then to take a vacation but the paraverse never rests. What if he took up a hobby while I'm logged out? I decided he visits Eva from time to time and help plan holiday events. He also likes to play dodge ball with Shaxx every now and again. When their aren't any gods to slay or cosmic mysteries to solve my titan keeps himself occupied in the city thriving amongst the people he protects fully aware of the cosmic horrors he's decimated so the city remains safe. What about your guardian(s)? What kind of people have they become after all the trials and tribulations? What kind of activities do they get up to when they aren't delving into another dungeon?

  • My warlock is my main, and has always been the quiet type. He prefers to keep to himself and do things himself. He had a squad, back when he was naive and new. Misty and Renn-7, he lost them during an incursion of oryx’s dreadnaught, where Alak-Hul the Darkblade captured them, having his wizard, Verok, perform torture on all three, including their ghosts in which the ghosts were held in an arc like cage designed specifically to keep them from transmitting out, eventually popping their ghosts like balloons from the overload in energy one by one as they killed the team. The torture they did was on both the body and the mind, ripping into their mind to find memories or anything that could help them against humanity. Misty was killed by thrall pulling her in every direction once her ghost died and her light faded, Renn-7 was dissected to see how the exo technology could be useful for them, while my warlock focused all his void light into his chest and exploded it all around the room killing the surrounding hive, freeing his ghost, and damaging Alak-Hul and Verok. In that moment he became one of the first to use nova warp. He fled through the dark, transmitting out right as the angered Alak-Hul was about to strike a killing blow. Ever since my warlock has never gotten attached to a team, and only does solo work or bounty work with teams in desperate need for someone’s help. He resents the vanguard for not sending a strike team to rescue them, and insists the city was a mistake. Cowering behind walls instead of taking back earth and eradicating every hive on the planet. So it became his goal to kill every hive on the planet, and take back what belongs to humanity, even if the vanguard disapproves
