Title basically. I lived through the bullshit that was D1 as well as D2Y1 and it was awful. You'd see all these good guns or cool missions and have to wait a year to experience them. But im finally drawing my line in the sand. Playstations past of forcing exclusives for Destiny and their current history of stopping crossplay doesnt really sell me on your tweet about uniting friends around the world. I saw the FAQ btw still putting this out here.

Edited by Xero: 1/31/2022 8:10:03 PMPS4/PC player Just recap the articles floating around back when Forsaken was launching, and when cross save was being looked at. I remember being excited on bringing my D1 Guardians from Xbox 360 to the PS4, then into D2, and eventually on PC. The articles are from a general search. This is merely information at this point. Take with it what you want. Here's hoping there isn't any takeaways on this. Fingers crossed. 3 RepliesWell, it was good run. They can claim independence all they want but we all know what happens when shareholders get involved. This is the nightmare scenario…

I hear you but as a Playstation owner I never got to experience Halo because of that being exclusive. Doesn't feel good at all when you miss out on something because you bought a different console.

Edited by TheDirtShrew566: 1/31/2022 7:44:53 PMEven if Sony purchases Bungie, EA or any other AAA company, with Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision/Blizzard and Bethesda there is no comparison. Microsoft is way ahead in the lead and I am sure they aren’t anywhere close to being done. Game pass makes Sony’s version look like a literal joke.
-
10 RepliesBungie hasn't done any of that stuff since they split with Activision 2 years ago....
-
Yeah because the Jade Rabbit is game breaking. ^^
-
1 ReplyMostly all I see in here is a lot of talking and very little doing.
-
Can't go wrong with Sony.
-
4 RepliesThey pull a Wavesplitter / Broodhold stunt in the future in any regard again, I pull the cord and never support again.
-
This is a good thing. They will have the financial backing they need and Sony makes some awesome games
-
I like playing Destiny ,but I definitely don’t like playing Destiny enough to pay the same price and not getting the same content day one. With all the studios Xbox owns I’m sure I can find something else to play. Watch Bungie stick Sony with the IP just like Microsoft and Halo.
-
Nothing will change at least until After Final Shape. And who knows if it will.
-
Yeah right
-
5 RepliesObjectively, how does this help Bungie, other than helping Bungie Execs get more money? They fought for their independence only to sell it to the highest bidder. You know Sony will push for them to do something special for them. You can't get around that. Personally, Xbox and PS are pretty much inter-changeable, but the controllers are not. I'm an adult and after years of hand cramps I had to switch to Xbox. I can't go back to PS controllers.

Sissy haha. Funny that THIS is what makes certain community members ready to leave and riot.
-
What the hell are they thinking????? Same, going to be done with Destiny.
-
With the way this game already treats content it honestly wouldn't surprise me. We've already got a tonne of things that you could only get by playing during a certain period.
-
Maybe you should just switch to the master race.
-
We will see what happens, I’m glad I stuck with playstation. I remember how bad it was to those players that never got access to the exclusive stuff back in D1
-
5 RepliesI hope Sony gives us PS players lots of exclusives.🤞
Playstations past of forcing exclusives for Destiny and their current history of stopping crossplay doesnt really sell me on your tweet about uniting friends around the world.
Things seem to be changing as far as a lot of the cross over related stuff. And that's for the whole industry including Sony. As far as the uniting friends around the world thing that's something that goes all the way back to Halo. Even the players had that as something they wanted. To really have lots of people in every country playing the same games. It has that now but not quite what it can be since the news came out. So that's not anything new or that's there to try to sell things. But it is something where if they're going to really do it there's nothing wrong with teaming up with another company that has a lot of experience doing worldwide kinds of things.

Drama, drama, drama. I am sure Sony & Bungie will take your feelings into consideration when deciding their billion dollar strategy. This is all a big fat nothing burger.
-
It might help sell more PS NOW subscriptions!
see ONE playstation exclusive gun, mission, quest, strike, pvp map, or even a gambit map. Im done.
I feel like, after all the bullshit Bungo has pulled with this franchise, that this is a weird hill to die on.
