Title basically. I lived through the bullshit that was D1 as well as D2Y1 and it was awful. You'd see all these good guns or cool missions and have to wait a year to experience them. But im finally drawing my line in the sand. Playstations past of forcing exclusives for Destiny and their current history of stopping crossplay doesnt really sell me on your tweet about uniting friends around the world. I saw the FAQ btw still putting this out here.

Their deal says they have the right to independently publish and maintain their games so I think you're worrying about nothing. People need to calm down over this.

8 RepliesSo long as Microsoft has control of CoD, they get to make the rules. Sony won’t change any current games to being/having exclusives if it means that Microsoft can just make CoD an exclusive in retaliation. D2 is small potatoes compared to the potential losses they’d take over losing CoD. Maybe see a weapon ornament or cosmetic, but nothing gameplay related.

Welcome to the PlayStation family, Sony!

Doubt there will be any exclusives tied to destiny. They said they (Bungie) still own the rights to destiny. Future IP's could be exclusive. Matter has the potential to be a ps exclusive considering how starfield was made a ms exclusive. Overall it's a win for Bungie and destiny players because the acquisition allows for increased hire new employees on the global scale instead of just Americans. The potential is massive with the list of benefits Sony is going to provide. All that being said, even as a ps player, -blam!- exclusives. The detachment from friends on Xbox in d1 was annoying as hell.

You guys will literally complain about everything. What a terrible disease

13 RepliesI kind of doubt it, because PS doesnt hold all of the players. And just blocking customers of getting your game after years of being able to is pretty dumb. But really, has this actually happened before?

If Microsoft starts making their games exclusives then Sony and Bungie have the right to do the same. Maybe not the game but certain items like before. People hate it but it’s just how it is. If they don’t like it then they can find a new game it’s not a big deal. Everyone makes it out like it’s worse then it really is.

7 RepliesI think it is in Microsoft’s hands… If Microsoft plays friendly with their blizzard/activision acquisition.. nothing to worry about. But if Microsoft starts pulling things… Sony has no choice to follow against a monopolizing company like Microsoft. Just like why Sony starting pulling the exclusive punches after Microsoft did said things with the 360.

2 Repliesno exactly like that, back in D1 Sony no own bungie, they where paying for some exclusive content as a marketing strategy, now is way different now Sony own bungie, and just think about this before talk, now Sony actually no want exclusive content at all for any platform, Sony going to get all the money that bungie sell in all platform, with that being said alot of people know that games and good content make way more money that actually the hardware in what the game is play,as a marketing specialist I guarantee you that they go for all platforms, cuz every single purchase in one of them make Sony profits,so it just dont make a sense get 1 over other, but all this is just my personal opinion

i will accept only emblems

5 RepliesI guarantee that the moment microsoft activates exclusivity on their newly acquired games, that will be when destiny becomes ps only. Probably 2 years from now.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

15 RepliesNo exclusives for PS. Bungie will still have full control. You’re getting bent out of shape over nothing.
-
I don't think exclusives are bad as long as each side has stuff just as good. Sonys mistake was letting stay independent We've seen where that's gotten them so far. Not saying they gotta be heavy handed but alittle oversight ain't bad.
