There's a hole in this.....and I'll give you an idea.... Savathun as Osiris obtained ALL of spiders dead ghosts. She also learned how to do necromancy from Nokris.... Put two and two together. She's evidently made the biggest beat the system move in history. Revive a Ghost corrupted by Hive Magic and you have an army of Lightbearers at your command. They were never meant to have the Light. Savathun broke the rules of the game. Let's also not forget the Entity in the Dark also isn't happy with Savathun. I'd say expect her to die but our hands won't be the killing strike.

That's not true. The Leviathan offered to teach them the ways of the sky, and they rejected it. The Sky refers to the light.

The leviathan was pleading with them to turn back and they defied it. Edit: It wanted them to return to the surface and to not.....be enslaved by the Deep.

Rechecked things: It wanted them to follow the way of the Traveler and the light. The Traveler has never been known to just make Guardians. The leviathan said it treasured them as proof of hope against despair. It possible this means they were being tested and were expected to maintain hope despite their short life spans and harsh conditions but they ignored it and plunged into the depths to find the worms. After some time, I believe they would've been uplifted. Every other civilization like the Harmorny and Ammonites were so Its reasonable to assume so. Given how devoted they are now to sword logic, imagine how powerful they could've been if devoted to the sky instead. And devotion is everything to the Traveler.

  • I mean, what are the rules? Who’s to say that Savathûn broke them? I think this theory is genuinely likely

  • She's trying to exorcise her worm and she's going against the sword logic (that's a big no no to the darkness). Remember what happened to Nokris. Oryx seen blood red when he learned Nokris used Necromancy. She's trying in essence to walk off the chessboard and out do both sides. She's stolen what can only be given (the light). She's rejecting what she was given (the dark). She's pissed off major players on both sides and I'm still 80% sure we won't be the ones to strike the killing blow. The entity in the dark or Xivu A'rath will.

  • In what lore tab did Savathun obtain all of Spider’s dead Ghosts?

  • Savathûn breaking the rules is also a really good idea. I've always liked the idea of a rogue faction that you can't necessarily trust but aren't your enemies either. Would be interesting to see if they take that direction with us having to team up with Savathûn to land a major blow against the Darkness

  • I doubt it. Savathun is deceptive even without her worm.
