Wi-Fi really doesn’t explain his issues though. If it’s only happening at the tower than it’s not his network. And destiny really doesn’t require much in terms of isp speeds. As long as you have a stable connection and at least 10mb service your good to go. I usually always hardwire my pc but while remodeling I had to use Wi-Fi and saw no performance difference in game.

When the company that makes the game tells you straight up not to use Wi-Fi then maybe you shouldn’t use Wi-Fi…

that doesn't help at all but thanks anyways

Edited by RonnieOP: 1/28/2022 4:59:01 PM
When the company that makes the game tells you straight up not to use Wi-Fi then maybe you shouldn’t use Wi-Fi…
Where have they ever said specifically not to use Wi-Fi? And if they did they are foolish for making such an ignorant blanket statement. Not all Wi-Fi setups are the same. I’m willing to bet my Wi-Fi setup is more stable and faster than a LOT of players hardwired connection. Now if you have a crap router like the one ISP give out for free than there’s a good chance your gonna have issues lol

Your Wi-Fi will NEVER be more stable than the worst hardwired connection. Thanks for coming out.
Your Wi-Fi will NEVER be more stable than the worst hardwired connection. Thanks for coming out.
That’s 100% false. And you know that. Unless your honestly believe that hardwired connections are incapable of having stability issues. You clearly know very little about networking.

I’m literally just gonna laugh at you while you research your reply. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I’m literally just gonna laugh at you while you research your reply. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I don’t need to. But you should. Do you honestly believe every hardwired setup is stable and it’s impossible for a Wi-Fi setup to be better? You think a cheap/free isp provided modem/router combo is better than say a $900 Wi-Fi 6 mesh setup? Or maybe you need to learn to read. I didn’t ever say my Wi-Fi setup was more stable than ALL wired connections. I said it’s probably better than a lot. Which it is. If you think just because something is hardwired it’s the best you clearly no nothing.
