So I got Destiny 2 In 2018, Played it for a couple of months, had a lot of fun with the game, then I moved on to other games. I heard witch queen was coming out so I decided to hop back on and grind the game again. The only problem is that I don't have any of my progress anymore and I was kind of freaking out. I was thinking, "Maybe I still have my DLCs because I actually paid for those, and no way they actually take away what I rightfully paid for, right?" Wrong. Yes, I get it, a different company owns destiny 2 now, so it makes sense that they'd have to do a purge on old accounts. But I stopped playing right before they announced that they were doing an account migration, so is there any way I could possibly get my DLCs back? I don't mind losing my progress on my characters because that's what the grind is all about. But I can't stand losing my DLCs because I had to pay actual money for those. Might you be able to Grant me my DLCs back to my account Bungie? Please message me of any help thank you.

Hello there, The PC Move function was available at bungie.net from September 17, 2019 through December 1, 2020. As of 1700 UTC on December 1, 2020 that function was retired and thus no more migrations can be made from Battle.net to . If you wish to continue, you would need to start over and purchase any dlc that you wish to play.

Hey, If you played for only a couple months back in December 2018 then you would of been playing on battle.net, Destiny has since migrated over to Steam and the deadline for that migration was December 1st 2020 therefore your data including Characters and DLC are now gone. Bungie will not be able to grant your DLC's back due to not managing the DLC's themselves (that is done by the platform, in this case that was battle.net) and cannot restore your character progression as per the Bungie Item Deletion Policy. For more information about the steam migration, have a look at this article. -
