It's better to learn a raid without watching a video: reasons, raids are ran different ways with different groups. Of course, experienced players can adapt, but as someone who has ran it with a dozen or more different players - there are just about as many different approaches to the mechanics. I've seen videos on how to dismantle a motor, doesn't mean I'll make a good mechanic. Second, join a clan. Many of the good, non-several thousand member ones have sherpa programs that will actually teach you.

  • If they're not active, try joining others. You can go through the clan finder, and find one that fits your personality and wants, or you can post up saying you're looking for a clan, and list out the things you'd like help with. You should get at least a half a dozen responses.
