That player you're shooting at sure is moving awful fast

  • Looks like the other player was using stompeez+high mobility. Would make the most sense with that strafe speed--Dragon's Shadow is a contender too, but the torso doesn't look like it has the dragon emblem in the centre or the straps........ Neither of the DS ornaments take shadows well, so you'd know for sure if a Hunter is using it. Ugly chest piece->DS. Bulky legs/fast movement/high jumps and strafe/weird toes->Stompeez.

  • Wow. I'm so pleasantly surprised that someone else noticed that.

  • It's hard to tell if he has dragons shadow on or not, it's my go to PvP neutral game exotic that gives you absolute bonkers mobility. 100 mobility can also keep up that strafe, but that's about all I got.

  • The strafe was definitely impressive.

  • well, I don't think the player was cheating and I give the benefit of the doubt. The fact that the player was a hunter and probably had high mobility + mobility exotic is the reason. I didn't really check tbh.

  • It's just an observation. Still I'd be curious to know how players manage that sort of thing (among many others like always knowing where you are & yes I know hunters have a perfectly legit wall hack, but I digress). Perhaps a developer side commentary on the video?

  • For me, personally, I notice that if I spot a player moving into my line of sight and they're looking at me, or if I'm not ADS'ed yet, it's surprisingly really easy to just snap my aim and land shots (with the game's aim assist too, it sometimes give me crits when I REALLY shouldn't have deserved them) with a hand cannon, especially if I'm on higher elevation like that enemy player. When you shoot and strafe with 140s, sometimes you don't have to do that much work countering the recoil since the reticle can land on or near their heads when you're strafing around too. It really highlights how handling+range for a boost in accuracy and stability perks are considered s-tier for hand cannons. You can't flick/react shots with low handling one, you can't manage recoil or flinch without stability, etcetera.
