The forums are not where the largest part of Destiny's community go to for information. For those who come here, there is a Service Alert banner on all pages of Bungie.net and the mobile app alerting users to this current issue. Clicking on it will take you to the @BungieHelp twitter account directly as well for live updates.

Then why are you telling people there’s a problem with their internet? How about putting up a message that says you’ve screwed up - again - and that you’re sorry that we can’t play the product that you sold to us.
