Would seriously love the option to appear offline for the bungie friends list. It's a privacy issue being overlooked in a surprisingly big way. Please fix this. Much love.

8 RepliesWill ping some folks internally to see if there are plans for this after the holiday. If not, will make sure the feedback is heard!

1 ReplyYes please allow us to show up truly invisible when playing. Way too many friends spam me when im on & i want to be completely invisible sometime

8 RepliesAgreed. However don’t friend people you don’t want to play, hear, or the like with/about, except when you want to use them. You don’t need friends to play Destiny. You can easily delete these “friends/online ID.” It’s a video game. Nobody cares about anybody, except real friends that are happy to see each other’s online.

I get really annoyed when I go offline and get a ton of invites. I agree fix this Bungie I want peace sometimes.

1 ReplyTotally agree. I like to set myself as offline when I am playing but not able to commit to running with others since I may need to unexpectedly log off at a moments notice. This way I don't get bothered with invites and they don't think I'm a jerk (hopefully) for not playing with them.

I agree, sometimes I just want to play alone and my friends are alway sing incurring me to party even though I'm offline on xbox, they can still see I'm online even though I'm appearing offline on xbox and I don't want to be rude and say no😂

It is kinda annoying if I am having a bad day and just want to chill with some podcasts as I grind D2, but appearing offline doesn't really hide me from other people playing D2. It's not a case of avoiding people I don't like, they wouldn't be on my friends list if thats the case. I just like to have some solo time without having to explain myself or to let people down by saying "No, I don't want to raid". Easier just to be able to just not appear online at all.

For the past five months no one in my clan and my friends list can see me when I'm online playing destiny. It just looks like I'm watching Netflix or something. I am not appearing offline on my playstation so that's not the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game replaced my harddrive and have had no change. The funny thing is its only when I play destiny. If someone has any idea on how I can correct this problem it would be most appreciated.

7 RepliesIf you have to appear off line then these people are not your friends.

5 RepliesAre you being stalked or harassed by other players? I have talked with some gamers and they tell me it starts out innocently enough but many times lonely male players get extremely inappropriate and disgusting with players when they realize they are women. I joined a group in Apex legends with my wife and the minute one of the other players realized she was a women he started making gross moaning noises and made sick and explicit remarks. If this is what you are dealing with, report these people, you shouldn't have to hide to avoid video game creepers.

I feel like this is only used for sus activities.

Consoles had a privacy option. Until they made Bungie friends.

I see where you're coming from and understand peoples need for some alone time play. I myself will sometimes appear offline. On the other side of that is people chose to populate, accept/send Bungie friend invites. I have not done so and will not for the simple reason that if i want to appear offline, it's just a simple matter of pushing a button on my ps, I still see my friends in the destiny roster lists, but for them, i'm offline. My suggestion, Depopulate your Bungie friends list.
