Hi, i have been wondering about if you get in trouble or not if you ask for some money for being a sherpa for pve related stuff. I understand that there are people who have more than one person who will help teach but what happens if you want to teach a whole fireteam and it might take over 5 hours or so. Can someone please help me understand this?

Hi there! This is against the CoC and you should never do that.
11. Soliciting, plagiarism, or attempts at phishing. SOLICITATION is the request for something, offering something, or attempting to purchase goods or services. This includes advertisements, referral links, and selling services to use in our games, such as account recoveries or carries. Bungie does not consider the following to be Solicitation: asking users to watch a broadcast or media that a user has created, or recruiting users to join a game, clan or sub-community, within reason.
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049202731#solicitingplagiarismphishing

Paid carries are generally frowned upon by the community, and it goes against the TOS. -
1 ReplyThis is better suited for the Destiny 2 forums I think. It’ll shave much better help than anyone in OffTopic will

I’m not sure what’s worse. You asking for money for helping people in Destiny’s PvE or the concept of somebody actually giving you money.

It's against Bungie's TOS. There are In-game Rewards like Emblems that show your Time and Dedication to Sherpa Others. -
Its called choice You choose to do nice things now you want to be rewarded for it On a side note, you could choose to stop then you have no complaints
